SINGAPORE, June 23 (Reuters) - Chinese shipbuilder Yangzijiang said on Thursday it has signed a letter of intent to build eight container ships with a capacity to carry 10,000 twenty-foot equivalent units each for Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG. Singapore-listed Yangzijiang did not disclose the value of the deal, but the agreement also involved China Development Bank which may provide financing of up to $1 billion for those vessels. Well said but any idea why the price keep dropping...people playing around? I beleieve so,....people just push down the price force those to sell and buy at low price and wait for it to go up again...i believe it will go to around 1.6 level again within the next 3 mths...anybody can correct me if i m wrong.. | ||

Theres a group of poeple betting heavily on China assets bubble. Therefore yangzijiang is facing heavy sell down even on mega contracts. remember when the bear market comes when the bull has peak. question to ask right now is are we done with our bull run. when u lose money in the stock surely someone will make money. its a balance game. my view is that China knows about its problem therefore its trying to contain it. They are successful so far and they cant afford a bubble burst. Give thier one party power. i am pretty confident that China will not burst like many hedge finds predicted. like i say many times the world is actually a smaller place as.compare 10 years ago. we are moving into more connected and dependent era. The world has to work together with being individual right now will bring the downfall of the human race. I believed Yangzijiang is in accumulation phase atm. It will sure go higher once things are proven to be more positive. Should things turn out to be good Yangzijiang TP will be likely be 1.65- 1.80 good luck | ||

IIFL has initiated coverage of Singapore-listed Chinese shipbuilder Yangzijiang (YAZG.SI) with an Add rating and a target price of $1.63.
For IIFL, Add means the stock is expected to give a positive return of above 10% within 12 months. With a large cash position to cushion a possible downturn and a net outstanding order book of $6 billion, IIFL said it expects Yangzijiang’s core earnings to grow at an annual average rate of 9% over 2011-2013. “Yangzijiang is one of the most efficient shipbuilders in China. The company is among the pioneers to break the dominance of Korean yards in large containership building,” said IIFL in a report.
It also noted that although the bulk carrier market is facing weaker new orders due to over-supply in the medium term, the container ship market is recovering.
Yangzijiang’s recent container ship orders from Seaspan provides visibility to its order book till 2015, IIFL said.

BDI closed red last night. YZJ, Cosco and NOL will follow. YZJ looks weak with bearish engulfing candle, and still hugging bottom Bollinger. Mid term expected to stay bearish. Trade with caution. |
