hrm.. don't mind me, just thinking why won't semb marine release their 85% in a bid to counter yangzijiang's takeover? afterall, if yangzijiang is willing to pay 155 mil for PPL holdings for a 15% on PPL shipyard, which is valued at, last i saw 5mil (i may be wrong) won't semb marine stand to gain more on a 1 time sell off?.. they can choose to sell it out at a lower premium too :/ yes they lose the passive income, but they gain the cash for future acquisitions too, now that the shipping industry hasn't fully recovered.. anyone enlighten me? ;) |
