I wonder ah liew could sit comfortably now. AGM is near, and his counter is not performing good enough compare to other company (property). Others has hit historial height and this counter is hitting historial LOW> What he can do 1)buy up more shares to move up prices or 2) pay more dividend to smooth things. Or he will kanna grill n squash in the AGM . Many shareholders are annoyed at the counter oerformance lately, eps seeing Kepland (much smaaler) to hit $5.12 high, while capland could not even hold at 3.90 level. SOP. Mr CEO , give more time in this comapny than enjoying yrself. Shareholders are paying top dollars for yr job, but you are giving peanuts to them in return?????????????? | ||||

Capitaland: 60% owned subsi Australand provides summary on Queensland flooding with regards to its operations. Brisbane office remains closed due to damage to local infrastructure. 2 industrial assets are damaged but extent is yet to be determined, costs to be borne by insurance. Residential project at Kangaroo Point impacted but extent to be determined, project will be delayed to complete by 1H12 vs earlier 2H11. With only 2 out of 9 Brisbane industrial properties damaged, flood is not likely to impact NAV significantly given insurance coverage as well. |

I think high chance you may get it below $3.65.
Gd entry level for Capitaland. I think for long term should be alright.

I reckon there will not be much change about the interest rate cos the low interest rate is much needed to support the economic for a while during its recovery stage. Perhpas,we will see interest rate escalate if the business loan demands have grown robustly. | ||||

The posted message was not a news, rather, it was merely that of a sepculator's view , but, the "Cooling measure" was a NEWs, and we read news every day , if not, how are we going to learn that Government is introducing cooling measures, or, raise the banks loan interest rate. etc, in this instance, one is acting on the news to buy, sell, or short a stock if one is actively trading in the stock market. You are right now acting on the NEWs given out by the media , short the counter because of the cooling measures and in anticipation of rising interest rate. :) News is important, if one can knows how to sort out the trival from the profound, judge it and act on it, and, i am sure you got it acted out rather quickly. :)

in fundamental view: it is worth to buy and hold , at least till feb 11, announce of full yr result. A pontential company that will be notice by big players. Another example i had seen in F&N. I remembered 2010 jan to march, FN trading at depressed price of 3.76 level. Later, it shoot up and had never stop . I believe that holding is the most less risk game, unlike frequent trading or predicting the market. I ahd seen many had trying to predict the market and in the end lost a big fortune. Prices changes everyday, as well as mood. This moring u could see depressed Capland, but who knows- it might shoot up in the later of the day or tomorow.I am holding this shares since it was 2.20 level, and since been accumulaating, and i believe it will move to 6.50 level, in this coming year... cheers... | ||||
