Not something pleasant to see REITs, supposedly a stable counter with good div to move so much. Observe. I'm still waiting for a good entry price for this counter. Don't rush any buys. |

Those stocks included into the MSCI Singapore Index surged. For eg - Wilmar. While those dropped, such as Suntec Reit and CSM, plunged. | ||

IMHO, there is potentially a big conflict of interests between shareholders of SuntecReit and ARA asset management shareholders. I wonder how ARA as the Manager is going to lean on who to serve who. How to serve two masters without conflict of interests? I'm an ex-shareholder of SuntecReit and would have been interested to re-consider buying this counter again if not for the above dilemma I would face if I invest in the Reit. I wonder if enough existing shareholders of the Reit who are concerned enough about it might want to get a quorum to force an EGM to consider the suitability of having ARA to continue as the Reit Manager. At least, unit-holders concern could be addressed at the EGM. Until then, I believe many people including BB are likely keeping away. FYI, one Hongkong billionaire had completely disposed of all SuntecReit units not long before ARA went to IPO. Could it be he too was concerned or just profit-taking. |

Last mins (17:05) > 16,825,000 changed hand at $1.55 , before 17:05 the price was $1.63. Anyone know what happend ? Yersterday BNP Paribas just issued a report with a BUY call and target price set at $2.39 |

The price has been down since XD, which is the norm, but it's a bit too much. Prices swing, very volatile and speculative. Just wondering if the listing of ARA has any effect on this counter. |
