Share price up 3 cents on strong volume. here is what DBS Vickers said in its recent report. Amtek Engineering Forging a stronger future Story: Amtek produces mainly precision metal parts for customers from diverse industries. Its core strength is in cold forging, which allows for high precision components with more profiling and value-add processes at a competitive cost due to minimal wastage. Its ability to integrate metal parts with plastics and rubber also creates a borderless one-stop shop solution appreciated by many customers. In addition, Amtek has the widest manufacturing spread among the locally-listed component companies. Point: We like Amtek as a clear beneficiary of the prevailing wave of outsourcing from European companies such as the automotive and consumer electronics makers. Furthermore, a rationalised cost structure and easing raw material costs will benefit margins. We project Amtek?s earnings would grow at a CAGR of 21% from FY06-FY09F to US$37.9m, on a revenue CAGR of 14% over the same period to S$851m. Relevance: Although Amtek?s current growth profile is equally healthy to peers in the metal stamping industry, valuations are more attractive at 7.6xFY07 (June YE) and only 6.8x FY08 earnings. We believe the market has not sufficiently priced in the company?s earnings recovery in the past one year and expect the gap to narrow with strengthening momentum and a higher level of investor awareness. half year turnover up 15% PAT up 30% half year EPS 5.4c, NTA 63c divid 1.8c what else can you ask for more? if you annualise, it's currently trading at 6.5x FY07 ?! I shall not say anymore, you decide... |

Amtek now at its NTA, trading below 10xFY07. Oversold region but personally feel can go higher based on 07/08. Can wait for pullback b4 jumping in again. |

Singaporeans are a bunch of do know what, this share starts to move because Friday night Channel U - Money decumentary (repeat on Sunday night) display some investment in Shanghai and SuZhou, thus the stock moves. Good Luck. |

i unloaded all at .655 had been holding it since feb 05 i must say it is definitely a good stock to hold if u juz wanna park ur $$ there and bochap lah. reaps relatively good div. good luck all! |

you are lucky168, PE ratio is very low. NTA is about $0.68/sh. If I not wrong, last half year result was announced sometime last week of Jan 06. Good luck! |
