Share market is a mind game. Let's give example, if the BBS and shortists pulled back the share price down from 2.2 to 2.0 before the report was out, they may have low or even no position in this counter and waiting for another 0.2 down after the genting sp results were out. Keep selling out the shares will not put the retail buyers in better position but keep holding the shares may push the BBS and shortists to buy back to cover their contra transaction and hence, to push back the price. In fact, the genting sp report doesn't bother us at all as their earning power is improving and so strong. Now is only the shortists playing and controlling the game. |

If a share drops drastically on low volume, eg falls from 1.00 to .50 on very low volume, then although not much people did the buying and selling, the market price has really fallen so much. Whether people will buy at that low price or not, no one can say. But the hard fact is, it is those who are investors (holders) whose money have simply vanished into air...

In share maret, trading volume = selling volume = buying volume, any 1 share sell out must have 1 share be bought by others. It means if share price can go down to 1.70, the retail traders are the sellers and then who will be the buyers so much interest to buy that big volumn shares? BBS? Then you got the answer! | ||||

Don't you realise, everyone scream to buy the shares before the report was out and shouted to sell after the report was realised and now... they just kept quiet. Don't be fooled and busy for losing your hard earn money, calm down and ask yourself how much you confidence about Genting Singapore and casino industry in Singapore. For me, I just like any other traders, prepare to accumulate more when the price is cheap. Sincere advise to share with smail retail traders. |

this is a good set of results posted by genting this quarter. most prob will start trading going down because of selling by uncle auntie? but reading deeper into the report, rev has increased by 6% compared to last quarter and prospects look good for next quarter too with the CNY gambling and also boost from the opening of more rides. so accumulate if there's a drop tmr morning...my 2.14 cents worth |
