Monday 14 Nov 2011: Tomorrow Midas going to drop a bombshell on 3Q result.

I did foresee this coming some 2yrs ago when they boosted of contract awards against big timers in PRC that doesn't make sense then .......

Getting contract is one thing but making profit on those contract is another. No one knows if their tender price was profitable under fierce competition + alumimium prices keep going up - will it hurt bottom-line down the road? What research analysts do is to write about contract award but clueless on its bottomline impact. Beware

It is very logical, meaningful with good intention, before CD - oredi like that, after CD - how?, better or worst.

True, true.    Midas should refrain from paying quarterly half cent dividends and save the money for a 2 cents payout once a year.  This could cut alot of unnecessary expenses and banking administrative work.  The savings could be significant. Management must be seen to do things efficiently and effectively.
