US ban on shorting

Shorting is not a sin. It is like any other tools that are available in the Markets - viz. hedging, option-tradings, warrants, futures ... etc....... Naked Shorting maybe undesirable but it doesn't happen very often! If the States want to ban shorting, it might as well shut down the Streets! Cheers! |

What do you think will happen 30 days later when the US ban on shorting those few stocks is lifted? I believe it is the perfect setup for a crash. |
