Mani, u should get the vids package to fully understand what i trying to say. there are some mistakes we made unknowingly even for experienced traders. if u still stick to genie, u will still be in elementary level in trading. |

Cashier mentioned that even after knowing the mistakes that can be made, a person can still keep on making the same mistakes. This fundamental truth in trading is the underlying reason why I used the phrase 'act religiously' when talking about practical trading (ie. putting what you know into practice). Doing this is far from being 'only theory'. On the other hand, knowing something and yet still not doing it time and time again is certainly 'theory only'...

after going thru the secret vids, remember to practise on the 4 trade setups n try to spot them. do paper trade for at least 2-4 weeks as u can trust me that u will definately will make those mistakes mentioned in the vids even thou u have watched it. i suggest watching the vids at least 3-4 times n going thru them again when u need refreshment. those thinking that wathing the whole vids 3-4 times is alot. actually no, the vids are not so long, also u dun nid to watch all the vids, just the related ones will do. also it is better to watch vids than to read hundreds of pages of ebook and safe you the hassle to print them out. watch ppl trade is always better than read how ppl trade. unless u belong to the theorist, or those that prefer to learn by reading. |

To those who have the genie, master trader & trade secret vids, if there is limit on time u can read those ebooks as you are working and busy with other activities, i like to suggest the below : 1)read the 1st 2 to 3 chapt of genie, is enough 2)go to watch the trade secrets vids n mp3 (skip the Part4 vids if u only trade spore equities) 3)read the swing trade and 1-2-3 (bonus) ebook from master trader package the rest u can take your time to read. |

lol nah, trade secret is not my favourite, i have ebooks which i prefer more becoz they are more "meaty" however i didnt mentioned them either as they are complex, expensive or becoz they are not specifically for stocks trading. among the 4 ebooks mani recommended, i will choose to buy trade secret 1st over the others becoz it is most pratical and simple and short among the 4. also becoz i areadi have 3 ebooks to compared with. |

hello sengE883, in the first place, you must be comfortable about using computer. well since you are on this SJ forum then you are, right? there is nothing so worried about on-line trading, really. do it one to two times, using SMALL money, just to learn the procedure. once you are familiar, you find it simple..on-line banking, ATM, etc are similar. it is just like you become the broker yourself to enter the information about what stock, what quantity, what price, Sell, or Buy, then click, the screen showed you what you enter, allow you to see carefully, if there is a mistake, cancel. Redo. If no mistake, take a deep breadth, think is that what you want? If yes, type password, click submit. here go , your order go into the trading computer in your on-line broker... On the other hand, on-line trading is not what to select stock, enter a trade etc. that is done by your own analysis and decision, with or without computer, just like you did before, you call your broker to do that for you on buy or sell at what quanity and what price. On line is just replacing your broker and 'do it yourself' using your on-line trading account. hope this helps |

Hi guys, I m new to online trading, i don even noe how to trade online eventhough i hv seen the demo(Amfraser)on their website, it looks simple to me but don noe is there real danger or not, just place orders..etc,this is smthg scrary to me... The courses SGX provides does hv for beginners but does it really teaches us from really basic... from how to online trade then to fundermental training etc. Does any of u guys noes any course for newbie like me? I don want to jump into smthg like, nan go buy..hee Thanks for the advice eventhough now is not the right time to ask....

mani, hope u dun take it too serious, i just wanna say something fast before leaving this stocks forum for a forex forum? lol all, what ever u think or feel is not impt. the most impt is whether u make $ or not? even if u lied also hard to prove, thus i see not point posting much in forums. thus if u r happy with ur system and the system suit u is the best. as mentioned below, i m not agianst genie, just wanna say that not all systems not all ebooks suit one personal needs. whatever system u buy or learn, it will be either one of the 3 main branch of thought with trend following the most common. each system suit diff ppl with diff character, however some are just not cut out for trading at all. this have to take note of. not everyone can be traders or be investors. most impt is to know urself 1st! |

exactly. Bear mkt everyone buy the share, off course thinking it's the lowest and will rebound causing more supply than demand, hence price move downward. Bull mkt everyone buy the share, off course thinking will move upward more, causing demand > supply, hence price move upward. I should say those who buy at the lowest is heng b'cos you never now how low is low or how high is high. Just my personnel opinion....cheer |
