when bernake fully understand the meaning of the word kiasu, he will be kiasu (Keen In Address Stock Undervalue) and reduce interest rate and everyone will be ok. |

Kiasu is a singapore word, if more commonly used, I think it will find itself into oxford dictornary and who know when bush and bernake came know about it, bush may tell bernake, dun be kiasu, reduce as much interest rate as you can to save the market. |

We have association for toilet and many other associations representing many interest except we do not have this association for kiasu. I do not think you like people to call you kiasu. Once this word is branded, i think you will enjoy and hope people will call you kiasu often. word like yan tou( handsome) is commonly used in the past by your friend calling you. i think you enjoy it and do not mind them calling as many time as they like. maybe kiasu will become popular one day and future parent may used the word as christian name for their new born baby. to promote the word, we need an association to promote it. |
