Had bought some at 7cts to keep till after year end announcement. If i'm not wrong, results should be out in Feb or Mar. Support is strong at 7cts, so to me its quite a safe bet at this price. | ||

Is this company HK base ans its boss Honkonger? If both ans is +ve then u really got to be careful with it as I've got v bad experience in counters like Jets Technics, IDT...... just my view but u hv been warn! | ||

Looks like CEO had been buying in Dec 07 at 10.5 - 11cts. However, at this price of 7 -7.5cts, he's not buying instead. Does he anticipate more downturn for this counter? Any views? | ||

CEO continuing his purchases last week and this week. 3 more days of purchases. Buying very discreetly and queuing at buyer price waiting for people to sell down in the 2 weeks. Looks like he knows more than the general public & buying ahead of either the results or the pending 3G licenses announcement or a huge deal with the chinese telecom's licenses winners. so sayang..... can only nimble at the stock at these prices to average down higher price holdings. |

Hi Vic, Thanks for your reply. Have been monitoring this stk since Sept. I guess need a lot of patient for this counter. Yeap..have noted that the CEO has been buying in ...a gd sign. There is gd volume this morning also. Hope this counter fly soon..... |

centaur, 3G license is defintely on. Have been following the 3G developments. Just google 3G license china. Prestige, Chairman/CEO just about 2.7m shares off the market at 10.5 to 11c in 2 days. That's a good sign. He has been buying back coy shares since he placed out his shares to institutional investors before the sub-prime mess. With the market stabilizing, quite a bit of weak holders would have exited the market weeks if not months so accumulation will be slow and steady before another frenzy that I expect in the next couple of months once sub-prime/credit crunch become old news..........& the bank clear their P&L and balance sheets crap ie writedowns. UBS did another 10B. That's damn good...less and less surprises. |

8telecom reported another solid 3rd quarter numbers. 1. Rev RMB 116.5m. 78% growth 2.net prfit 7.45m 21% growth 3. Operating cashflow positive RMB59m. Their cash & FD pledge amounts to amost RMB93m. Very healthy. Not only are they growing prfitability, their cashflow is exremely positive. Hence a very odd counter to me that doesn't seemto fit into the China linked stocks and yet showing such strong fundamentals going into 2008 Olympic year.
