I feel that this is still not the right time yet. Wait until the full report release, and the impact during that time is unpredictable. Its very much depend on how much risk you want to take and has it reached your acceptable price. If yes, and you are in for long term, then you may start to collect a few lots first. |

Profit warningHi-P has issued a profit warning after reviewing the preliminary results for July and August 07. The company expects revenue to be higher on a sequential basis in 3Q07. However, net profit is expected to be substantially lower due to provisions for inventory obsolescence and production yield issues and higher than- expected operating costs for the Poland plant. For the full year FY07, management expects revenue to be on track for growth compared to FY06. Management sees a high possibility for net profit in FY07 to be lower compared to FY06. |

Hi-P International Ltd has revised its guidance for Q3 and FY 2007. The company expects Q3 FY 2007 revenue to be higher compared to Q2 FY 2007. However, net profit is expected to be substantially lower. Ok. Confirmed. Lower profit. |

Didn't check on the financial statements. But technically speaking, this long consolidation may in itself a good thing, for a strong consolidation leads to a strong rally (if it ever comes or if it's going to rally). I should think that the signal to buy would be at 0.730 (broken it's last lower high) or if you've a bigger stomach for risk, 0.715 or 0.720. Just my 2 cents worth
