Hi brandonharrist... I am just wondering if you have been trading after you've read those 'many books' coz I assume you would have accumulated quite a formidable body of knowledge in doing so. So if I may ask... what are you lacking then, that makes you want to attend a class...? Hope you will care to comment... :) |

Hi brandonharrist, I have not attended this course as I have already attended Terraseeds. Am now trying to attend the MACD course which I think is very valuable for trading. Cheers. |

Does any of the gurus here know of any TA good practical classes I can attend (besides Terraseeds)? I find that reading books is one thing (definitely required, and I have read many), honing the skills of application and having a face-to-face interactive session with an expert is equally critical. Let's learn well and learn good rather than get burned. Can anyone suggest, thanks. |

For best results, it is a good investment to build up your own libray of stock market books. The best traders are the ones who have developed their knowledge through the acquisition of the best stock market books. Treat each book not as a book, but as a different person, for each have his own technique, style and merit. The more books you absorb, the more insightful and thus more masterful you can become, provided your character doesn't come in the way. Luck is not the key to stock market profits... you can treat the stock market like a casino... yes, you certainly can by choice, but only if you can afford it... hehe.. |

Hi all, It is surprising that many, many people come to the stock market without being prepared at all, except with the thought and ardent intention of making money. Everyone loves money (of course). But sadly, it is very lamentable to recall and see many people and families being destroyed by their enthusiastic participation in the stock market... some have died as a result of heavy losses, some have to forgo their relatively luxurious living for something less face-honouring. And many more sad stories if one bothers to find out. But this is only the tip of the iceberg , since human nature is such that humans love to proclaim their winnings, but hide or 'play down' their losses. It's a matter of 'face', you see. But the main reason heavy losses are suffered in the stock market is not, as you may be tempted to readily assert, is not bad luck, although it can be one of the reasons. The chief reason is unpreparedness which is to say, the players are not prepared through education to 'take on' the unpredictably temperamental stock market beast. Like a friendly-looking stingray, the beast can 'out of the blue' strike you and finish you off in one single move. Technical analysis is the starting point of stock market education. It is an imperative prerequisite if you want to be an effective stock market player who will not end up as a permanent financial cripple. Don't forget about the fundamentals, but use fundamentals only as the 'sauce' for your dish, and not the man dish. To avoid unnecessary searching and hunting in the shops, you can click on the links below to find out about two great books on Technical Analysis (TA). Ordering online is simple... and you'll don't need to push and shove the crowds. From time to time, I will recommend my favourite goodies to you. Please also recommend your goodies to me... hehe.. :) 1) Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets 2) Technical Analysis of Stock Trends 3) Long-Term Secrets to Short-Term Trading This last book is our own TA expert, Singaporegal's favourite. Written by Larry Williams, it is her 'secret manual' to stock market profits which has made her such a successful trader. To posses such a manual is akin to the ancient Taoist discovering a rare and secret manual to fantastic trading satisfaction. And I think you'll love it.... :) |
