An astronomical new record for an AHTS vessel. Otto Marine said - sold two (2) vessels to an Indonesian firm, PT Go Marine Int'l, in which it has a 49% stake. Deep Sea 1, built at Otto Marine?s Batam yard, was sold for $95m, while an AHTS, Go Riegel, was sold for $25m. Otto Marine - A leading offshore marine company, has announced the completion of a unit of Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel named ?Go Phoenix?. The highly complex Norwegian designed newest AHTS vessel, also considered one of the world?s largest, is the 2nd of the four vessels completed by Otto. Consecutive construction of the third and fourth vessels will be completed between 2013 and 2014. Otto Secures More Shipbuilding Orders - Separately, Otto has also announced that it has secured orders for the newbuilding of five cement carriers. All five cement carriers will be constructed in Otto?s shipyard in Batam. Additional potential contracts in the pipeline include a carrier conversion order for two bulk carriers and one ocean towing tug. With the completion of its AHTS and cement carrier orders,. Otto is set to focus on its shipyard operations on repairs, conversion and fabrication works, which could potentially see more orders being filled for their shipyard operations. Coupled with the growing number of activities in the offshore and marine industry and the strategic location of its shipyards, Otto is set to obtain more orders in the near future. Significance: Observed robust business activities can bring, securing additional contracts, providing steady cash inflows to the co. Fear already inbuilt into penny stock thus the prices should include the risk/fear now.... It remains the investor's perceptions if you want to go with a stock. It all depends on your risk appetite. Higher risk higher returns. 4D/ Toto, Stocks and Bonds,FD etc... Reading too much into tea leaves.... the SGX requires compliance . Good luck!

Short term uptrend but long term still downtrend, need to break up the long term downtrend upper channel around 7cts. And there is also a price gap of 7.4 to 7.8cts plus previous high was 7.4cts, both of these will cause some resistances. Therefore, can consider to take some profit when it reaches at 7.x level as it will takes some time to break up all these. But remember to buy back on dip as the company has started to turn around and should be on the way back to 8.x level by next quarter report. Price below 6cts is good entry point. Just my opinion, good luck! |
