The Group registered total gross profit of about $7.0m for 4Q FY2012 which was 32.7% higher than the corresponding period of the prior 4Q FY2011, and total gross profit of about $20.4m for 12M FY2012 which was 20.6% higher than the prior 12M FY2011, in tandem with the improved revenue. Gross profit for Equipment Rental business increased by about 33.8% to approximately $4.3m for 4Q FY2012 and increased by about 17.2% to approximately $12.8m for 12M FY2012, as compared to the respective prior periods. The increased was mainly due to improved contribution from overseas subsidiaries and expanded fleet size, as well as improvement in rental rates in the 4Q FY2012. Gross profit from Trading business increased by about 31.1% to approximately $2.7m for 4Q FY2012, and increased by 27.1% to approximately $7.5m for 12M FY2012, as compared to the respective prior periods, mainly due to higher volume of crane traded. Net Profit After Tax A review of the performance of the group, to the extent necessary for a reasonable understanding of the group's business. It must include a discussion of the following:- The Group registered total revenue of about $38.7m for 4Q FY2012 which was 13.9% higher than the corresponding period of the prior 4Q FY2011, and total revenue of about $129.2m for 12M FY2012 which was 20.8% higher than the prior 12M FY2011. The increase in total revenue was mainly due to increase in both rental and trading revenue. Revenue from Equipment Rental business increased by 24.2% to approximately $11.7m for 4Q FY2012 and increased by about 20.0% to approximately $40.1m for 12M FY2012, as compared to the respective prior periods, due to improved contributions from overseas subsidiaries and an expanded fleet size in the group, as well as improvement in rental rates in the current quarter. Revenue from Trading business increased by 9.9% to approximately $27.0m for 4Q FY2012, and increased by 21.2% to approximately S$89.1m for 12M FY2012, as compared to the respective prior periods, mainly due to higher volume of crane traded.
