Recall on 6 Jun, Ramba disclosed that the Soeryadjaya family and concert parties, which own a controlling 33.1% stake, have been in discussion with a potential buyer for their entire stake. Family patriarch Edward Soeryadjaya has also received a conditional expression of interest for a possible acquisition of 51% of Ramba shares by way of a voluntary conditional cash partial offer at an indicative offer price of $0.60-0.70. Based on SGX ruling, any new shareholder that has acquired 30% of outstanding shares will tigger a mandatory takeover bid. The offer price cannot be lower than the highest price paid by the offeror six months leading up to the trigger of the offer.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	RAMBA ENERGY LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of Singapore) (Company Registration No.: 200301668R) ANNOUNCEMENT DEVELOPMENT DRILLING AT THE JATIRARANGON BLOCK The Board of Directors of Ramba Energy Limited (“Ramba” or the “Company”) refers to the previous announcement released on 8 February 2011 with respect to its interest in the Jatirarangon TAC (“Jatirarangon block”) located in Java, Indonesia. The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the Company has commenced the deepening of the JRR-1 production well at 1000 hours on 5 July 2013. The JRR-1 well currently has a total depth of 5,250 feet, and will be deepened to a total depth of approximately 8,900 feet. The deepening of the JRR-1 well is targeting the Talang Akar and Baturaja Formation. The Company had discovered oil in the Baturaja Formation in 2011 during the JRR-3 ST Workover. The Company expects drilling operations to take approximately 15 days, with an additional 10 days for completion and testing. The Company will make such further announcements to inform shareholders of any updates or developments at the Jatirarangon block. Oil and gas exploration and production is an expensive, high-risk operation. Shareholders are therefore asked to exercise caution when dealing in shares of the Company, and should consult their legal, financial tax and other professional advisers if they have any doubt as to the action to take.
