SINGAPORE, June 21 (Reuters) - Shares of Singapore property developer Keppel Land " In the last two weeks, Keppel Land's shares were sold off quite a lot and the valuations are looking pretty cheap now, so it's staging a short-term rebound," said a trader. Keppel Land's shares fell to a 43 percent discount to its re-stated net asset value last Friday, CIMB said in a report. The property developer's shares had fallen by about 12 percent last week, hurt by concerns about easing demand in China and after Singapore's government said it would release more land for private housing in the second half of the year. " We believe the market has neglected the fact that Keppel Land is still one of the biggest office landlords in Singapore with a Singapore residential inventory that has been largely pre-sold," CIMB said. |

KepLand: Obtained masterplan approval for integrated waterfront resi dev in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Vietnam. The 30 hectare site is expected to comprise of 6,430 homes supported by quality retail, comm, educational and medical facilities of total gfa of 1m sqm. The 1st phase of dev is expected to be approx 1500 waterfront apt units tgt in 2012… Co has also built 500 homes to HCMC People's Committee in a separate location in exchange for the 30 ha site. These homes are part of a public priv initiative to build a resettlement housing proj and a further 1300 homes will be delivered over the nxt 2 yrs. This proj will be undertaken together with its JV partner Tien Phuoc which it earlier secured a 13.5 ha waterfront site with as well… Co has recently been expanding in both China and Vietnam in residential space. Co trades at current P/B 1.2x but YTD share price performance has been similar to that of Capitaland at current P/B 0.9x. |

Cheap will get cheaper! Freefall still on the way, shorted since $2.76 and going down everyday. Just have to respect the market, ride along with the trend.

Looking at fundies it is cheap but market is sometimes not rational... price always give the truth... everything now points south, try to stay on the sidelines for now. Try not to catch the bottom coz we don't know yet how deep the bottom is..... u have 2 choices 1st) sell when there's a rebounce.. though i am not sure where this ship is gonna rebouncing to. 2nd) FA wise it is cheap.. (yes it might or will get cheaper according to this sentiment).. so u can hug for 2-3 YEARS.. come back in 2013 if we are all still alive..
