 Alert Admin 		You can try. Look at the 20 lots @ $3.15 by director. Do it not hint speculation is going on, while a group of sheeps started to buy in, that resulted today price. Neverless, a sell down will begin. Any amount above $3.15 is speculative.

Share buying back is only one of the indicator maybe the price is

  1. we should look into the fundamental of the company.
  2. Compare with peers example golden agri, noble, indoagri etc in term  of   p/e ratio, debts level.
  3. In term of p/e for plantation stocks most are traded at pe of 18 wilmar is only 15. So p/e is quite low. Which is cheaper than peer. Most consumer stocks e.g. delmonte are trading at p/e of 30....
  4. Debts wise wilmar debt level are still manageable compare with Olam.
  5. Look at wilmar business model.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch upgraded Wilmar from $3.90 to $5.00.

what triggered it?

A recent call for tender by Indonesian's state oil company Pertamina to buy 3 million tonnes of biodiesel in 2014. " The lastest biodiesel policy will benefit it greatly" , but cautioned that a quicker than expected rise in palm oil price or a sharp decline in diesel price would pose risks.

as you can see, stocks doesn't go up in a straight line....Up retrace abit...forming a higher lows along the way...

Fundamentals and Technicals are improving....looks like will retest $3.90...if can break.. hold, cannot break.... sell....also depend on what happens later whether fundamental support for palm oil and sugar still good or not......

China is re-stocking in anticipation of Chinese NewYear...India as well...

More catalyst is China govt already said to let " markets" have a bigger role...meaning govt will control less.....Do you know that palm oil and sugar prices are depressed in China due to govt control for many years...so wilmar had a hard time......Volcano would erupt if the govt lid is removed...then commodities firms with exposure in China will really have a sustainable rally...in fact, most of the big players  supply to   China.....Noble, GAR, Olam(cotton) etc.

Because of naive remarks from Ynnek1267 & Rayyeo, i have no choice but to revive my prediction for Wilmar (In which within weeks, Wilmar will fall below $3.63, from this speculative price, in which shareholders only bought at $3, and anything above $3.15 is a speculative amount)

On 13 Nov, as announced-  Wilmar Director, Mr Kuok Khoon Ean, bought 20,000 shares at  S$3.15 per share.  This is not a huge quantity, basically 20 Lots. My forecast is that may be used for speculation and sell off when the market momentum is high. [From this we know that $3.15 is speculation mark]

Prediction (Battle Forecast)
On 19 Nov Afternoon (when i forecast $3.63 is not sustainable)- Market closed at $3.62

lol........ Pull in NOL, lose in competition in the  container shipping industry  and dying stock  as example...

Wilmar is the leader in his business like Maersk leading in Container shipping, NOL only one way down.

Look at NOL, 7 years history back $3-4. Now $1. There are also few other counter history price high, but is not relevant tocurrent rate.

Same as Wilmar. 1-2 year history may be high, but after revenue dropping for a few years share price is re-evaluated.

On 19 Nov, Wilmar shares is up to $3.63 high when market expected the shares to move higher. What does this simplify?
Are the current buyer buying at a price, well above shareholder's speculation and near 52 week high?
Are the price of $3.63 sustainable? I guess not, because market greed will fall together, as well far above shareholder price and the quantity in which shareholder bought isn't huge.

Therefore, the price of $3.63 is not sustainable, & will drop further.
