Feel I have the need to be responsible in what I post and let me eat my own humble pie..

Looked closer at the fundamentals of Swiber today and realised it has an extremely high net debt to income ratio of around 15.6, based on my projected earnings for this year. Using a new discount factor of 0.195, it's intrinsic value and also fair value based on my own analysis and valuation for Swiber as a stable company should be 0.86. Applogies..

This counter from what I last checked is really a good counter with an intrinsic value of 1.7. But have to monitor and see if it can really maintain the earnings. Once a good counter has caught the attention of the market and other investors - big-time or retail, it will start to take off. It is good not just because of Kreuz, it itself is also good. Vested also at 0.7..  =)

SINGAPORE—Swiber Holdings has secured contracts worth around US$435 million (S$551 million), which the company said bears witness to the industry’s recognition of Swiber’s leading edge solutions.

The company, which provides construction and support services to the offshore oil and gas industry, said the Swiber Group won a contract worth US$330 million while a joint venture company secured a deal worth US$105 million.

Swiber did not provide any further details about the contracts, but Chief Executive Officer Francis Wong said he expects the Group to continue to attract high-value work from Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East.

“Geographical diversification will indeed continue to be the cornerstone of our growth path in the offshore oil and gas industry,” he said.
