x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	It's so much fun that I don't think I would stop trading. Trading is not a job to me. Trading is a game to me. Do you stop playing when you are having a lot of fun? No right... you play more and harder. However, you need to get the objective the stock market game correct. The objective of the game is not to make money. The objective of the game is to do as many good trades as possible. If your focus is on money, you'll end up over exposed. Like the soldier who runs in front of the pack, irregardless of the enemy's strength. If your focus is on doing good trades, the money will automatically come. Anyhow Buy and anyhow Short will make you lose more money than others who only bet on 1 direction. I know because I was one of them. It's the counters you choose and the time you act that is the most important, ignore all the noises. i.e. Ignore what the FEDs are doing, what the EU are doing or any big shots are doing. In any market conditions, there are always counters that goes up and counters that goes down. As a trader, your job is to find these counters and trade them. I made profit in both my Long and Short positions during this time. How? 1. Learn how to trade properly. 2. Only trust yourself, ignore what everyone else is saying. 3. Control your emotion. 4. Take your time to choose the best counters to trade. 5. When it's time to act, act fast. These are my basic rules of trading, I think other successful traders will agree with me too.
