Will start to use my margin account to collect bit by bit from 1.45
onwards liao .... hopefully tomolo will have a stronger rebound to 1.50
like following Ausgroup or Man Res .. keeping my fingers crossed

it seems like today need to see huge volume to buy up and break the
resistance set to short this counter...like they always say what goes
down will eventually have the reverse psychologies. To all the shortist
...please let some room to breath for those vested higher ..... take a
break

hi chris_cyng, i agree w u, short-term wise, straitsasia doesn't look good. support tested a few times at 1.40-1.41 today where there were strong buying. which was why i was curious about clownfish's posting, can be q misleading to newbies like me who are learning TA (and btw, have yet to hear from him). or maybe i missed out something in the TA of this counter. maybe can learn from clownfish. |

hi clownfish75, just curious. why did u say the charts look bullish? i thought it's quite the opposite - all signs (macd, MAcrossover, boll bands, etc) showing down trending. perhaps u can explain? |

Chinese coal company seeks $6.7 billion
stock offering
HONG KONG: China Shenhua Energy is
planning the world's biggest share sale by a coal mining company to raise as
much as $6.7 billion as demand for the fuel surges. Shenhua, the largest
Chinese coal producer, said Monday that it planned to sell as many as 1.8
billion yuan-denominated shares in Shanghai. The company, based in Beijing,
said it would spend the money on coal, power and transport operations and on
domestic and overseas acquisitions. China, with the world's
fastest-growing economy, became a net importer of coal for the first time this
year because of rising energy needs. The fuel generates 78 percent of China's
electricity. Coal prices at Qinhuangdao, the largest Chinese port for the fuel,
rose to a record level last week as increased use of air conditioners in the summer
increased power demand. The price of coal for
immediate delivery, excluding shipping costs, climbed 2.98 yuan a ton to a
record 563.38 yuan for the week ended June 29, according to the McCloskey
Group. The price of coal at Qinhuangdao has risen almost threefold in the past
five years. STRAITASIA can be a
potential take over bid soon?

long term good. share price still undervalued if u look at long term prospects. short term it is your call. i decided to get out today as i think this month stock volatility increasing, so i would advise dont buy if u feel u can hold only for 2 weeks. |

straits asia very difficult to forecast a breakout price imho. the BB here loves to play long n short. just follow him n ull be safe. u need to know the support n resistance of this counter though. the BB ever so smartly keeps moving them unnoticed on the way up . i should consider calling straits asia straight tikam tikam counter. |

charts are actually mixed for this one. but gapped up 8c today. game's afoot. need to break 1.22 sustained for further upside. o/w, as per normal, when a stock gaps up suddenly, it usually falls down a bit in next few sessions. wait and see perhaps. no hurry. watch morning busd data. |
