Still early day to pass judgement yet. Don't forget our PM is also vveerryy good at numbers and know exactly how to balance between int rates and inflation numbers. Mr Bernake's speech to reduce int rates is surely good for the Markets..........and for that matter, any FM's or PM's speech to that effect would also have the same consequences. This may give boost to the Markets, but could 'kill' the economy on the whole! Cheers! |

Low volume, selling pressure seems to ease off, will rebound when sentiment improves. |

I think by now you Guys should know that our PM will be giving the NDR speech on this coming Sunday. Live telecast. Don't miss this one as it is a very important speech for all! I do understand what you mean winsontkl, the past weeks I've seen the knock-on effect which led to the uncertainty on the World's equity markets with significant falls followed by rallies. The black hole you mentioned is deep and at the moment, no one knows or could picture the depth of the hole. Billion of $ have been wiped off the Markets. The Markets are suck-dried, 'cos Funds are not 'ploughing' back to the Markets - that is the main problem, I think. That was the reason Central Banks needed to act to 'CUSHION' the Market - for how long is another matter! Cheers! I strongly believe there is another " Nat'l Day Rally" coming our way! I'm positioning myself for that. |

ten4one, beg to differ in opionion, don't you think that sub-prime saga has opened up a pandora box much similar to a black box???? Seems a black hole is sucking up all the liquidity and most of the Central banks is pumping tons of money in. Did you ask yourself this question, WHY out of the blue????? Yes, 14 cents do present an opportunity too tempting to resist, but think its still early days.........will accumulate when the situation settled and the situation is much clearer. Do not want to be caught in the wrong footing. Anyway, still holding on to my core holding for long term keeping. Be extra cautious!!!!!

Agreed that the sub-prime market has caused a worldwide liquidity problems. Luckily, the Central Banks around the world are pumping in CASH to cushion the falls in the Markets (at least, at the moment). It could be worse, if not for the quick actions taken. Cheers!!!! Yesterday, bought FL @ 14c - too tempting to resist the offer! |

Have to lower entry point now as Mr Market is offering Global Sale, no point to rush in. Sea of red, with blue chips and speculative counter badly hit. Presently, the unknown factors as to what is the extent of subprime impact and credit issue is hanging heavily on all investors head. Doubt that this will be resolved in the near short term. Worse, worry that this is just the beginning and might snowball into other areas......Financial is one of the likely candidates and this itself will definitely shake the foundation for investment in the near future. Do trade with care!!!!

ten4one, "real value" is a very subjective matters. Yap, you are right that FL is being unfairly "handled" by the Market. When the bull is charging relentlessly, FL is crawling; when the bear is awakened, see how it fall, as if there is no tomorrow. Still the fundamental will emerge and reflects its true value (which I assumed somewhere / sometime in the near future), hopefully by then Mr Market will give it is due. For the meantime, going to lean back and start accumulating when I find the price is really Lelong as in other sub-stocks. Rather bet on something I know.
