Hi Matthew8. I don't like those words - hidden gem. I trade mostly using TA. I sell and buy when the price is right. High palm oil prices support my decisions. Palm oil can be used for bio-diesel, so the potential is there. |

Hello! Zhu Ge Liang. Nice to see you posting in SJ again. Since you mentioned Golden Agri, allow me to ask if the following do ring a bell in your ear: I agree that your concerns about corporate governance are valid but they are more or less already reflected in the stock price. GAR has a compelling turnaround story - a glance at palm oil prices would had told everything. From 700 to the current 1,600 in a span of 18 months. Above is an extract from a posting which I came across. Not trying to be funny here. Just out of curiosity, I ask. Hope you can oblige. In your opinion, is Golden Agri a hidden gem? |

Nostradamus is another shi fu. He recommended Golden Agri and STX. I've made quite a bundle from them. Thanks a lot, Nostradamus. |

hikitty - You are right. Must thank zhuge_liang for his "valuable" advice. Whenever I read his postings, I somehow have a feeling that he brings with it, his smile in the posting. It also reflects that he is a humble man. Forumers will remember that he posted a hint that Sys Access was speculated to be a M & A - just few days be it becomes a reality. I happened to follow his postings closely and posed some potential questions for him to answer. From his answer, I was daring enough to pick up 20 lots and had profited from his hints or advice. Forumers will also remember zhuge_liang posted that GES was rumoured to be a takevoer at $1.20. Not long after, it was announced that GES was a M & A at $1.25 - very close to his hint. zhuge-liang shi fu - are you in China now? Missed your postings for some time. Do post often and let us know information which you know and we don't know. Help others to help yourself, OK. Once again - many, many thanks |

Oops, must thank shuge_liang senior for the advice. The stock should do well from 2006 onwards and become less volatile. Hope other forum participants will be as helpful as shuge_liang. |

Not too late to buy this stock on weakness since it shows upside potential, compared to its IPO price of 88 cents (listed in March 2005). Agree with other forum participants that investors (which most forum participants are hopefully) should avoid stocks which have hit more than 100%, or worst more than 200%, above their respective IPO price not long after being listed. Those stocks will become volatile as their expected growth and profit over, say, the next one or two years have been fully factored into their "inflated" prices Unless one is a trader, it's pointless to "play" with them anymore. Any comments from TA specialists or senior forum participants? |

The airways devices maker has received CE approval for new urology device LMA StoneBreaker ahead of schedule, paving the way for its sale in 28 European countries. The company should be able to commence distribution towards the end of July. More than 2 m people in the US and Europe are affected by kidney stones every year and the incidence of this disease is increasing worldwide. The device has benefits in cost and weight. It costs just about US$10,000, which is less than half the next lowest cost device. The very portable 500g StoneBreaker device, powered by high pressure cabon dioxide, fragments and removes stones in the urinary tract. It doesn't require extraneous electrical or pneumatic connections. Sales from this device is expected to 'contribute positively' to the company's financial results next year. Buy on weakness. |

Hi Shplayer. Thanks for the input. Other forum participants pse shd take note of this counter, lah! Volume and price have been increasing in tandem recently. Why buy other stocks which have gone up like crazy and have dipped recently? Low prices for LMA can't last forever as the CM mark shd propel the stock to profitability soon based on Shplayer's input. |

hikitty, Perhaps you were not too wrong in your typo......'moran'/'morgan'...perhaps should be 'moron'. Aiyah, why are you still harping on IPO price? That is history....have to look at current situation and if you have a crystal ball, look into the future. Whilst analysts reports are useful to get some insights to the company and the industry, their opinions should always be taken with salt...(some say a pinch but I always take a handful) cos most of them have ulterior motives...despite their disclaimers. Always do your own homework/research and make your own decisions. In my opinion, it is now perhaps a good time to relook at this counter cos they have already obtained their CM mark. |

It can't be a stock with great potential. Since listing in March 2005 at 88 cents it has been a "play" stock. Although JP Moran's targeted price was $1.10, as reported on 12 October 2005, it has to date not hit it. Instead, it has languished in negative territory most of the time after Temasek unloaded all its shares. . Many presumably less promising stocks which are not within the radar of brokers have outperformed the market one year after its listing. Can any broker's recommendation be trusted? |

"Rotational play" refers to the playing up or down of any volatile stock by turn by stockists or traders. Such stocks are usually in the top 20 for a few days, either being played up or down, after which they go into a lull period sometimes for as long as two months. Biosensors and LMA are good examples. |

LMA listed in March 2005 at 88 cents. Though profitable, it has remained below its IPO price most of the time. Just like Biosensors, LMA is a punters' or "rotational play" stock. Fundamentally LMA and Biosensors are the same today as they were when they dipped. Today (29 June) they have rebounded. The moral: Please take any recommendation to buy, especially one with a targeted high price but with no definite time frame, with a pinch of salt. Certain institutions will suggest a "buy" because they have an axe to grind. Who would be so "smart" to tell the whole wide world to make money? Think about it. |
