From Midas CEO said that those previouly contracts win will benefit to its earning result of 2013, I believe the result should be better and Midas will win the 2nd high speed contracts again by next month, China is speeding up their railways recovery now, the interval time for 1st and 2nd high speed trains bids only two months. High speed contracts win meant high profit for Midas, High speed mode reactivied now, cheaper ticket sold off for 0.4+ soon, lets say buy-buy to 0.4+. Huah Ah |

tenders coming out one by one...midas should have their share of the pie soon as long as their zeh suah managed to win the tender and subsequently award some contracts to midas...earnings out next week hopefully better than previous quarter...fingers crossed XXX | ||||

Thank you Bro. 53% on SSHs hands, the floats on 47% speculating in the market. 47% = 571millions shares x $0.50 = $285millions. Total 1218millions = $609millions Super laggard stocks with huge contracts won. Will try compare with their Q2 and est Q3.

In 3Q2012, Midas made a loss. Thus, if Midas maintains her 2Q2013 performances, we may see relatively better performances in 3Q2013 & 9M2013. Keep our fingers crossed.  And Midas' future is bright & half-year dividend is coming.

Hi, may I offer my view...agree that there is much prospect for the mid to long term for this counter. 1. Large Chinese contract are in for the rail system in CHINA. ( there main mode of transport bet cities for the mass) 2. Midas is one of the most qualify vendor. ( with history and experience) 3. They have survive well the past 2/3 years when the Chinese rail industry was hit hard. 4. No immediate results but certainly improvement on the way. Further they have win business from other areas beside depending mainly on China market. All the best if you are holding onto this... ))

I share the same thought. Most of their orderes and deliveries will not be reflected in the coming quarters. but the report will be slightly better than the last year. | ||||

I think this quarter result wont be good. If you want to invest in Midas, need to hold for mid to long term like Cosco and Vard. Is a good counter to buy now and hold. Now at the bottom of the curve like shipping and ship building industry. Not vested. |
