Hi Chinkiasu, Would you kindly guesstimate the earning for this quarter like you did the last time. I am preparing for an entry soon. Is current valuation demanding comparing to the region? Current Rolling EPS is 0.72216 and Rolling PE of 8.793X. Will we be seeing below PE8X after the 3rd quarter earning? Thanks. |

Hi lookcc, I used to be a "long" term investor of SPC. Bought at $4+, then SPC shot up to $7.05 in 7 mths. Not bad right? But in 2 weeks profit got shaved off 50% and decided to exit at $5.75, still make, but not as fat as before. Then I choose to punt and obviously I choose SPC as compared to other counters bcos I know the trading pattern of SPC better then other counters. So far, I ducked in and out about 10-12 times and gain from all trades except once got caught. My objective is to gain from pockets of rebound and unload before it went down, targeting 10¢ to 30¢ per trade. I have kept track of all my trades on SPC so far and I would say I am happy with the result, bringing me back my gain to what I had lost in my profit ($7.05-$5.75=$1.30). Although I am a punter now, I am still seeing potential and value in SPC which can invest long term. I am ready for an entry to SPC again once all dust settles and my target for SPC is....$9.00 (EPS $1.00 with 9X PE). I want to have a big house, 2 cars, 3 maids and 4 mistresses....hehehe! I hope I can change your view on SPC, if not then too bad. I will carry on with my dream....Cheers! |

168, i m a punter (not an investor). did not lose on this counter...bought at 6.25 n sold the next day at 6.35....my observation is tis:- when it was abt to go up, it got sold down instantly...suspect px being pressed down (4 accum?)...not one day but 5 days....not happy cos did not make much $$$$, shud hv made quite a lot. Anyway, wud not trade tis counter anymore..can't make a lot of $$$$$$. 4.50 (if it does come due to crisis), also wud not trade tis counter. 2day made $$$$ from 2 counters cos nobody suppressed their prices..not like spc, if going to collect at 6.00....shud b no problem by next wk (4 those wanting 2 invest ). |

lookcc, I can understand how you feel bcos you may have lost some $$ here, or have not made any. But fret not, this is a good counter to invest if you have a longer horizon view. Short term no guarantee. SPC had already run up yesterday from $6.05 to $6.30 at yesterday's close. And this morning, SPC had also run up to $6.50. In total is a cool 45¢/8% jump from yesterday opening price. But I dun understand why ppl are selling this counter since crude have the potential to reach $100. Although the rise of crude oil may not ensure a good refining margin, but SPC had been very hard working digging holes all over the world. Indonesia had been giving constant throughout, and Oyong is coming on stream (double Indonesia), Australia may show some positive result, the crude oil hike will definitely benefit SPC in the near future....mmm, $4.50, not possible at all at this current portfolio SPC is holding. |

sti up 117 pts, dow up 300+ pts, oil @ $81 BUT SPC up 5 CENTS (from 6.30 to 6.35). This counter got sold down day in day out....no chance for it to chiong at all...m glad i threw it away @ 6.35 two days ago...wonder when ppl wud realise tis counter not worth to get in UNLESS below $4.50, cheers. |

Dun be too happy with SPC at $6.50. I see volume not strong enuf to support price level. May just fall back to trading band which happened 2 days ago. It could be dead cat rebound, so please trade with care...just a concern. |

happy to note that SPC now touching 6.50 even now traded 592 lots!! so it is a matter of time... with oil price at record $82 and Oyong coming on stream... SPC sure to hit 7.00 soooooOOOON!!! |

I cetainly hope that SPC will surpass $6.50 very soon, maybe tomorrow after the FED rate cut. I have more or less get even with SPC since I exited low last month. I am ready to be a long term investor of SPC very soon. I am quite tired ducking in and out lately. Have to see the mkt very closely and neglected quite a lot of beautiful things around my life...my son. So I hope we can draw a straight line to $9.00 from here. Cheers. |

BENEFITED...BENEFITED!!!! Luck comes in pair. I dun think this comes to me often. I queue for $6.10 yesterday and was given at last minute adjusted price at $6.05. Then later in the afternoon about 4pm, I put in a queue to sell my lucky lots from yesterday for $6.25 when the share price was trading at $6.10/$6.15. Hahaha....I was AGAIN granted the sale and you know what, my lots was sold at $6.30 (one notch higher than I asked)....hahaha...very fat, very fat. Cheers to all! I think I can plan for a holiday soon....to Africa (join CKS), Maritius & Seychelles, or the Fji Islands!!! |

Well, consider I benefited from the BB last evening, but disappointed that SPC did not cheong as the crude oil is in record high. Let see in the afternoon when the Europe mkt opens. Cheers. |

Could it be that this fellow deliberately dump 195 lots at the eleventh hour that he knows will cause share price to drop without chance of recovery. Then tomorrow, before the counter open, he starts collecting at a much lower price and gain from it while the share price going up? If that's the case, I fat liao tomorrow. Another scenario is that this fellow knows tomorrow will opens lower (insider news), hence dump in a rush. Like that I will be holding his baby...hehehe! Let this saga unfold tomorrow...no point guess. I m looking forward to opening price tomorrow. Cheers. |
