It is to trap those who are greedy, when their whole watch list is in RED and only this counter is Green, they thought something big is gonna happen. it's all psychology. I just hope people don't get too greedy, get some profit and stay sideline rather than throwing hard earn money away when it come down, which probably is real quick!

Will any companies want to buy the stake at high price at this environment? The only hope that keep it from dropping is that the sale of the 51% stake is at a high price......if not, what is going to happen....even Kepcorp drop from 11+ to less than 9.80 now.... Stamford land sign a MOU to sign 3 hotels but it did not go through at the end of the day....anything can happen...... |

Wah, there r ppl who r professional full time trader like me, trading for survival. n there r ppl who works n trade (we like these ppl alot) so when the news come please allow us to enter a position first becos we rely on these to survival, lol. then u guys enter, that should be fair. so for part timer u wont be able to pick cheap n news come n stock shoot up, u can be only follower. unless u want to be like the rest of suckers tat try to outsmart the mkt by buying cheap n early based on technical analysis.

Wah, allow me to scold u first....foolish. consider urself lucky to only lost 10K, or so. dont short a counter pending for news release, Trading Halt. with the amount u lost i can estimate u short big time, wat if u short n mkt goes into Trading Halt? n the purchase price is $2, once Halt lifted every single one will withdraw their queue (that when i am waiting for to profit), u will be seeing the price rise in second towards $2. then u got to buy at $2!!!!!! please learn a lesson from here......as shorties one single thing we r worried is Trading Halt.

those who want to exit their long position should sell now. it's not going to hold anywhere above 161 for long. buy when it come down again...i believe there was some funds buying when it was at low this morning. just my 2 cents worth :)

Hi all ok i gt a stupid question here cos im very new to trading. How do you know the indication to buy in a share? When the price keep increasing or ?Just like now, know there's news come in, and the price is low now so do we go in now? or to wait till the news is affirm? then by then price would have shot up already isn't it? tks all advice! |

Just read this: After the market close, STX Group responded to a request by the Korea Exchange to clarify on the market speculation arising from media reports about its finances. STX said it is considering selling shares of its affiliates STX Heavy Industries and STX Energy via an initial public offering or establishing a special purpose company jointly with KDB to sell its assets.
