Good piece of advice! Sometimes if you are stepping backward, you can see it clearly. But when you are too near the wall, it will be very difficult to have a clear vision. Yea, forward TA for Ausgroup is excellent, so not too worry lah. Have a nice weekend lunar chinese new year and Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Investment is looking at the company futures and its potential to grow. Gambling is looking at the past and present data. Ausgroup is currently bad for gamblers as the present data is unfavourable. For investors, it is good as its future look bright with the number of contracts and tender in the pipeline. However the question is when to buy in. If do not know when to buy in, then just accumulate slowly at certain interval (averaging strategy). Buy when it is cheap and sell when it is expensive. Cheers to all and Gong Xi Fa Cai! |

ya i always advocate, must do homework, dont expect to make money easily... dont understand where tankuku get his news that results is gd. try not to mislead pple here in forum with speculations. anyway, sometimes even with bad results stocks can still go up haha! well gd luck to all! Ausgroup results just out. Somewhat worse than I expected. Revenue decreased 34.1% year-on-year. Net profit decreased 32.5% EPS fell from AUD 2.7c for HY09 to 1.3c for HY10 (annualized P/E about 17.5) Net gearing fell from net cash to 0.051 NAV/share (and equity) declined marginally from AUD 28.8 to 28.7 Outlook guidance also not very optimistic: - Strong AUD impacted competitiveness against Asian competitors - Earnings expected to remain weak in next quarter - high margin pressure in AU minerals sector - O&G: expected to be flat in SG. Potential LNG projects in AU seems to be the main bright spark |

yes they have alot of contracts but it is well known they are not going to add to the profits for this coming results. if u dont even know this, dont think u shd even be vested in this... only 2H 2010 will be better. how much better? u go find out yourself!
