jessie: rayphua are more of those trading mentality. if cut loss can make you sleep peaceful at nite by all means cut loss. i wanna hold on still cuz i dun need the capital from this stock to fund my other purchases as my strategy is not trading but more on investing. in the meantime i treat this stock as my FD cuz soon i will get my next dividend payment again :) |

Please dont think that analyst target price is 1.55 and that Temasek is one of the shareholder, this counter will be spared from the sell down. My personal experience is this : Bought at 1.50 (thinking that Temasek in it cannot go wrong) and price went up to 1.60 didnt sell. Then price started to drop... and drop... and drop... also didnt cut loss. After attending Ray Phua's session, finally bite the bullet and cut loss at 1.07 in early August. Now, price is below 1.00. I have no regret cutting loss. My only regret is didnt cut loss much much earlier. Expensive lession learnt ie practise CUT LOSS and do not keep lowering your cut loss price. |

Consider that IPO price is $0.89, which Basslink was not in the picture, the share price is always at a premium. Maybe the premuim is for the Temasek branding. Branded goods are always more expensive. |

DBS Vickers - Cityspring Infrastructure Trust (CITY SP) In line with guidanceS$1.08 BUY Price Target : S$ 1.55Headline numbers and DPU of 1.5Scts were in line with prospectus projections. At the EBIT level, City Gas performed better despite 1.7% lower revenues due to better cost management. Excluding non-cash item of S$2.3m from non-cash fair value loss on derivative instruments, SingSpring performed better than projections at S$3.2m vs S$0.7m. This was due to lower actual utilization of 24% as compared to the projected utilization of 50%. |

NAV - $0.80. There's 20+cent premium at current share price. Unless they show that they are actively seeking acquistion to increase their NAV, else very soon investors will start looking elsewhere. |

The Group?s net profit after tax was 80.0% higher than the projection provided in the IPO Prospectus. This was due to the stronger operating performance of City Gas Trust as a result of better cost management. Total operating expenses was 6.5% lower than projection. Cash earnings for the quarter ended 30 June 2005 is 56% higher than projection. Both City Gas Trust and SingSpring Trust - the two assets in CitySpring?s portfolio - are expected to maintain their market leading positions. CitySpring will pay a DPU of 1.5 Singapore cents on 14 September 2007 for the quarter ended 30 June 2007. This is in line with the projection provided in the IPO Prospectus. Based on the unit price of S$1.06 at the close of trading on 13 August 2007, this translates into a yield of 5.7%. On 31 July 2007, the Trustee-Manager announced the acquisition of 100% of Basslink, a 370- km undersea power cable connecting Tasmania to mainland Australia. The acquisition once completed, at an enterprise value of A$ 1.175 billion (approximately S$ 1.5 billion) will be immediately yield accretive to CitySpring. Mr Fai Au Yeung, CEO of CitySpring Infrastructure Management Pte. Ltd., said, "CitySpring has benefited from the steady and stable cash flows delivered by the assets in our portfolio. The acquisition of Basslink provides another stream of long-term and predictable revenues while significantly diversifying our asset base. There continues to be significant investment opportunities in Asia Pacific due to economic growth as well as expanding trade activity. The Trustee Manager will continue to seek projects like Basslink, which meet CitySpring?s investment mandate, in order to provide our unitholders with regular distributions as well as with the potential for long-term capital growth." |

a) Can anybody highlight whether the management fees is settled by CP fully or still outstanding?. If not settled fully, when will be settled fully? b) How CP intends to mobilize fund for the recent Tasmania acquisition? c) My investment who invests heavily in stocks says this is another (other than Statschip) failure for Temasek. Is it correct?. Thanks |
