Security is now very tight after experiencing a nasty surprise on fatalities. If these people running do not buckle up or wise up, then they will be outcasts in business.

Once I reach 1000 lots will wait and watch the progress of the company's business via reports or sending people to visit their farms.  Got many friends in China who would be most glad to assist to give some progress reports, lol.

Exited at 0.103, some at 0.105 but some still hanging on for a small loss for some bout at 90 cents.  On average, the losses for  higher prices bought will be added to those holding long term.  Probably just adding about 1 cent to the cost of holding, that's all.  If you are holding,  and continue to buy, you don't calculate the profit or loss yet, ok.

Actually I love to eat abalones and also sea cucumbers.  Know they are expensive stuff, but did not realize that sea cumcumbers are not vegatables but living creatures like the other sea food.  Good qualilty sea cucumbers costs alot of money.  I just happen to pass one shop and find out one kg for average quality can cost more than  $300 per kg. Anyone in this line?  Some Indonesian seacumbers are cheaper. China type are quite costly.  There are many kinds of sea cucumber species, and each will fetch different prices. | ||||

Just hope you are not Master Lim under another disguise. I have completely different view of this company. It's bleeding red ink and fast running out of cash  to operate with.

If you lose, assuming that the world collapses (then who won't?), only $80 per lot, but if you gain you might even get $300 to $400 per lot.  This is business.

Of course, in every counter there is a risk of losing.  Oceanus risk rewards ratio is much better than some of the top volume counters. Buying opportunity now if want to make $$  big big.

Agreed with Chillx's post....  Before considering to buy this counter, do & check yr chart / TA / FA, read up more on the company too -  DYODD and BOYASOR! I'm vested but very small only from profit gained recently from other counters, to park here, 10 lots only =).   My capital is protected and I playing on my profits only.   My earlier posts were extracted from other websites to serve as just a reminder to traders to trade with care and with open eyes and not blindly based on emotion and calls.   Trade well and safely.   Just my 2 cents worth of opinion.

If one has spare cash to pump in, defintiely worth considering, as the company's business, in my opinion is still good just as long as they are seen to take measures to prevent a recurrence of the severe mortality. Also, their start to cultivate sea cucumber will help to balance out their heavy income reliance on slow growing abalones. Just my opinion. DYODD and BOYASOR!

for info/reference only --- trade at your own risk from   Shares Investment Daily, 01/03/12  Oceanus Probe Contends Cause Of Abalones Massacre Was Malnutrition An internal probe at Oceanus Group suggested that the mysterious death of millions of abalonesat its farms could be due to poor nutrition. Separately, it announced deeper losses for its 4Q11 due to fair value losses in biological assets. Management revamp and operational restructuring has taken place and is keeping Oceanus on track to turn its financials around by 2013 as opined by Oceanus acting chief executive officer and chairman, Dr Ng Cher Yew. 4Q11 losses widened to Rmb502.6 million as it wrote off fair value losses in biological assets worth Rmb371.2 million. Revenue also plummeted as Oceanus sold fewer live and processed abalones.  Significance: Given that the high mortality of abalones was a man-made factor, Oceanus would be unable to make insurance claims on the losses, possibly contributing further to its future losses.  |
