Nostradamus, What make you think this stock worth 23c. I'm confused, few months back analysts forecasted EPS to be only 1.2c and FV 15c. But now the EPS turned out to be 2.9c. Some say FV as high as 25c. Why didn't the analysts come out to update thier reports? |

Singaporegal, Thanks. My friend told me that he suspected that someone had been collecting this counter..and he forecasted that they may push the price up way pass 20 cents. You think that possible? |

I think there's still potential to rise further. The signals are still generally positive. Might want to take your friend's advice and hold on for a while. |

I bought this company when investors were running away from it. 10c was what I paid. This is a defensive stock, I don't expect it to run like the rest. Of cause, it will be good if your prediction is correct! |

From TA indicators, I think this will still rise further. Suspect that the profit taking was taking place yesterday. But will pick up again on Monday. |

This one is still a laggard in China Play stock...with China expanding at a rate of 9.9% annually, power demand is gonna rise! There is a new management in place now and they seems to be doing some strategic buyout to acquire more hydro power plants, which are more eco-friendly and higher profit margin. They have also abandoned their wind power projects, which is a good move. Asia Power's Net Profit a RECORD HIGH, up 85% to S$10.1 million! Dividend 0.9c, which translate to 5.3% at 17c. Using PE of 8, and EPS of 2.9c, the fair value should worth at least 23c. Wait for OCBC upgrade on this counter soon! |

It is a good defensive stock. EPS of 2.9c is way above analyst expectation of 1.2c!! I expect analyst to upgrade this counter. With the current interest in China Stock, it will be a matter of time before value investors discover its true value!! |

As stated in other forums. This stock is tapping on the growing power generation market in China at the same time looking for renewable energy. so many infrastruture growing in China, power demand sure surge right? Vested... |
