Obama won the 90% of vote  of  coal mining states in last election since all these people are middle class people and support Obama since they believe Obama  will take care them. But, their dream doesn't come true. Obama will be die on the hand of all  these coal mining states  which is about 30% of vote right in US 2) Alpha Natural Resource 60% revenue from coking coal and 40% revenue from thermal coal. They idle 8 mines and retrench 1200 workers who are working in thermal coal mine. The revenue percentage of thermal coal will cut down further. 3) Coking coal price currently is about 2 times higher than thermal coal price now although drop massively from 330per ton(2011, Australia  flood)  to 170perton (Japan recently record). However, the operation cost for coking coal is only about 20% more expensive than thermal coal. So profit margin is still quite high. 330 per ton to 170 per ton vs the share price of 66 dollars(2011) to 6.78 dollars. 4) Natural gas are up till 3.40 per mmbtu vs 2.13 per mmbtu of thermal coal price (converted as per energy burning figure) 5) Evidence show that Japan are working closely with Russia to obtain the Natural gas instead of relying on the LNG source from Australia. 40% of natural gas supplied from Russia to Europe will jack up the energy price in Europe. Recent figure show that Europe purchased thermal coal from US in Aug which is about 13% production of thermal coal in US in August. Natural gas price in Europe will be higher and higher and the immediate replacement which is not affected by season is only thermal coal since oil price is even higher for electric generation. 6) Coking coal are used for steel making. The period of downturn cycle of steel demand is about 6 months, now is 3rd month. 7) Alpha Natural resource having the lowest debt ratio among its peers listed in US like arch coal, peabody, Waltersol and etc. 8) Alpha Natural resource price are the most pressured price among all its peers during this downturn which is drop from peak in 2011 66 till 6.78 dollars. I would like to take the risk to earn big. Don't know how's tomorrow... and i stil hav contra lots tat need to let go besides lots tat i gona keep... u guys are right, no contra unless confident enough. I was over confident. So most probably i.will suffer another loss again.

Their holding power is much stronger than you and me and slowly buy up, unload, buy up, unload or sell down, load, sell down, load without letting you know. Method different only. Who buy insurance, do you know where is your money? Instead of minutes, It extend to 3 days but the amount put in is huge. 2) CFD - 10 to 30% money put in. It is also offer a choice to buy reversely (which is short). Good tools to use but cannot be long term since it involved 4 to 8% annual interest and month roll over (need to pay commission). It is used for within 3 months investment if really confidence with the share direction to go 3) Stock, put in real money and keep for very long term without subjected any interest and commission once hold it. For whoever interest about my analysis to NOL. 1) I am betting reverse turn over of NOL by announcing profit in coming quarter report on 25 Oct, not too long, 2 weeks only 2) Maersk(No.1) and CMG(No.3) had reported profit in  last Q, NOL result  normally report about 2 month late as compared them. As such, I believe NOL will be profitable 3) The freight rate stay above 2011 all year freight level and the  fuel oil bunker price stay  low since May. As per my detail calculation of the freight rate, bunker rate with the no of containers and region that they operate, I  calculated about 150million of profit in coming 3Q. 4) Previously, NOL announce to sell main office building. Now no more news, seem like their finance become healthy. Just bought in CFD of 1.105. My target is  1.30 and will cut off once it drop below 1.05. So also aim 100% profit and 25% loss in max. I may actively appear in NOL thread hehe... Wish me luck.
