My opinion is to wait before rushing in.

Eg. There is no certainty that I can sell at 90cts after buying at 80cts. Chances are, I will still lose money in that trade.

Look to long only after the skies are clear in EU and US. It may be more expensive then, but at least I know I won't lose any money or sleep.

My 2cents.

But of course, it's your money and you are entitled to do anything with it..eg buy now and sell at a loss once it plunges again.

Markets continued to slump on Friday

 

The FSSTI index fell 1.2% to 2,675.2, with more than two stocks falling for each that rose in the 30-stock index. China-based shipbuilders fell after a report by the National Development and Reform Commission showed new orders for Chinese shipyards in August declined 60% yoy. The broader market saw 139 gainers and 327 losers, with trading value amounting to S$2.68b.

Cut loss @0.915. Took a huge loss in my portfolio, worst investment in a single counter for the year. will keep at the sidelines for now. Will re-enter when i see an opportunity again.

STXOSV drop ever more... by 0.070, or -6.9% to 0.940
