Stats Chippac (STAT SP), a Singapore-based provider of semiconductor test and assembly services, rose 0.6% to 90.5 cents. The company said it has shipped more than 100 million chips using copper wire bonds this year and expects production to grow by another 75% by the end of the year due to strong demand.
