Singapore shares are likely to trade in a range as investors remain cautious before Chinese economic data. The Straits Times Index which fell 0.5% Monday may take a positive cue from Wall Street after shares rose overnight, however concerns about growth slowing in China could limit any upside. " With today's tone likely to moderate into a more neutral mode, we could see the index consolidating around current levels with the immediate support pegged at 3130 with resistance pegged at 3170," SIAS says in a note. Banks and property stocks will be in focus as any negative news from China is likely to hurt demand for these shares. | ||||

Some serious problem in our infrastructure...... our mrt/road are not design to meet our current population...... infrastructure has to be effective or else people will built up unwanted tension and wasting time just to get on the next train/destination.....each person waste around 30 mins per day from our research.....with this 30 mins a person can do so much more thing......Like i say before our infrastructure is like our veins in our body ....once get blockage it will dmg the parts of the body.....We seems to design or do things for the sake of doing it..... i have seen   solution that solved one problem but yet create another new problem..... Anyone who have been to hong kong knows that ...hk has much higher population than us.....but why when u go on their transport system it is rarely that they have massive jams on road or train break down..... even not as pack.... well thats mainly because their train is longer than the one in singapore...so it carry more passenger per trip..... If u want to do it u have to do it right......make sure u think of every single scenario your grp of people can ever imagine.......      |

Now turn bearish I think still make sense, What I said is those that call short short short last few month one,  mostly pok  by kanna play out a lots... For long or quick trade- Play a bit still ok, anything wrong still won't suffer so much. For Short- Aim at those overbought and over value one, fire when real times come. For blur sotong- U better take a rest and paper trade for more experience, if not lau lee also cannot save u :)

The dollar climbed against most major currencies and crude oil rose a fifth day as better-than-expected U.S. jobs data fueled speculation improvement in the world’s largest economy will prompt a reduction in monetary stimulus. Japanese stocks rallied.

Stock Futures Rise as Earnings Season Begins Dell Advances
By Andrea Tse - 07/08/13 - 9:11 AM EDT Tickers in this article: AA DELL FB MSFT ^DJI ^GSPC ^IXIC NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Stock futures were drifting higher Monday as 10-year Treasury yields eased following a big spike Friday as investors awaited the unofficial kickoff of the second-quarter earnings season and anticipated more information on the Federal Reserve's timing for a wind down in quantitative easing. Futures for the S&P 500 were rising 8.75 points, or 10.46 points above fair value, to 1,636. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average were adding 69 points, or 88.16 points above fair value, to 15,145. Futures for the Nasdaq were tacking on 18 points, or 18.23 points above fair value, to 2,974.5. Dell shares were advancing 2.69% to $13.38 in premarket trading as the drama between Michael Dell, Carl Icahn and the battle for Dell appears to be coming to an end, as an influential proxy advisory firm backs Dell's bid for his company. In a surprising move, Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) has endorsed Dell's $13.65 per share offer for the Round Rock, Texas-based company as the best deal for shareholders. Microsoft was little changed at $34.25 in premarket trading. The company is shuttering MSN TV on Sept. 30. Microsoft bought the product for $425 million in 1997.
