Hey guys, it is so much fun to read all your comments in HK forum, much better than other stocks forum. Objectives, with ideas, reasoning and humor.  | ||||

lucky I was trying to persuade you it is rerating. There are short term traders otherwise BBs can't generate the volume to get analysts & fund managers attention. The large purchases at 5c, 6c cannot be pure traders as they are big lots for people with deep pockets. HK is stronger today compared to the time during previous EGM with the BOAML report (stupid distraction that costs me my missed profit at Kreuz). If HK corrects, its best to take position as unlikely it will go back to 5c+ unless macro problem again! (blame the americans and europeans again). Using Sino Grandness as gauge, HK's price will be at least 2X placement share price. If FY14 profit shoots to 1c, then potentially HK can trade to 2-D once the analysts and fund managers start recommending. I remembered in 2009, UtdEnv shot up from 10+c all the way to 40+c with re-rating (I thought it was crazy and didn't profit from it), and even then UtdEnv don't even have many projects. I think HK is only at the very early stage and share price is forward looking, i.e. based on FY14/FY15 projected results. I read some say HK has run ahead of its share price, that if one based on FY13 EPS. Using FY13 EPS, I am not surprise HK can be trading at 30-40PE (12-16c). May be I am overly optimistic. I am happy for you my friend, whatever your decision. I respect. Blessings always.

Lucky..a hint..its not plain speculation.. why ? BBs   are in and BBs have a ST to MT targets. Check the forum and search ..If its plain speculation, the usual tango will happen for this stock and you know it too often. BBs who use to short NOW have positions. Its plain clear.  I am in LT but am involved in ST trades as well- more mobile for me. I dont want to be caught in a position that I have to chase HK after a halt or a super big announcement after I liquidate everything for a few bid profits. ..when I know uptrend is fully intact.   Cheers .

Thanks, Share7 :) I'm certain I'll be back soon ! It's just that I'm not sure if this round is a re-rating of the stock or just plain speculation. Strangely, the lesser the short sales may mean lesser fishes around for BBs to squeeze ? We will see when the first white candle is due in 2 days if there are many contra players or intraday traders like what leeeta and some who seem to have done pretty well this round :)

Agree cccx and leeeta. Why sell? FA is good going forward. With China's infrastructure announcements in Oct, there will be positive news for water asset companies. Many likely events taking place soon... 1. Likely positive FY14 1Q, and followed by analysts rating... 2. Likely projects' completion will be announced with water tariff increases being effected... 3. Likely BOT/TOT coming with S$250M MTN... 4. Likely HK will cross 10.5c one day, then hit market cap S$500M and will attract another group of fund managers... I will keep you company but tell me before you sell so I can sell one bit before you. Kam sia.

Hi, guys. I'm still very interested in Hankore :) I believed the disclosure of the use of funds is in line with the need for capital injection to these subsidiaries to secure more local fundings for the uograding projects.
I understand cccx123 sentiment. As I said before, I bought Biotreat too and I finally cut loss at about 4c. I decided then not to even put in more money to pick up the rights and sold both rights and shares off. I want a fresh start. I didn't give up monitoring and attended Hankore AGM and assessed their performance. I made up my mind to buy into Hankore again last year Aug aggresively and prepared to look at 12 mths or more time horizon when I see lights from 3 angles - 1. its cashflow stabilized, it has turned around and operationally more efficient and it started to write back some of the plants that it had previously provisioned as write off. 2. The macro picture has improved tremendously and China govt can't continue to ignore the environmental damage. In fact when the economy slows down, it is also time to refocus on environmental issues. 3. I validated the TA and the 100 days MA turning around while to 200 days MA is showing similar trend. The worst could be over. I'd glad that this round is very furious but also feel that it may not be sustainable from a logical angle so it may be an opportunity to refresh again. I may be wrong, at least so far it remained strongly supported. No regret as it is good karma that someone bought from me are also making profit. I can't catch the peak. Being not major shareholder gives us the priviledge to adjust our position more freely and on shorter term as they will not have any direct impact. I'll normally prefer to re-enter at the next correction as it will reveal to me the floor. That may well be higher than what I sold but it it all about risk management. I'm watching this baby :)

This announcement is definitely planned months ago. I believe Mr Chen has a plan, and would not announce HK is in growth path last week otherwise.

A bird in the hand is definitely better than two in the bush. But one must also consider the time spent trying to snare the bird and the effort spent trying to control oneself from giving up altogether. Unlike many here, i did not buy at the low of 3.5cents or so..
It has been a roller coaster ride since I first bought into HK more than 2 years ago at around this current price. My initial capital outlay more than halved in a matter of months. I only started to average down at the beginning of the year when I saw HK making the top actives as well as place short term trades in a bid to reduce my losses. Along the way, while searching for news regarding HK, I chanced upon other HK investors at the now defunct CNA forum. I know had an avenue to vent my frustration. Those down there would know how incessantly I complained about HK's persistently low valuations despite improving fundamentals. During the various rallies, I was often tempted to sell my LT positions and cut loss, break even, or take a small profit like now. There was a time I even sold all my holdings after the placement before regretting almost immediately and buying back almost instantly after realizing my mistake, albeit at a higher price than I sold. However, every time I wanted to sell, especially right now, I look at the several thousands of profits in my account and ask myself if that was the amount I wanted after tanking such a ride. Is a mere 40-50% profit worth it? My answer is obviously negative. Even if HK's stock price was to retrace back to 5cents, I still wouldn't sell a share of my LT positions. Unless of course, there was a drastic change on the company. At most, I'll just complain here and spam the company emails seeking explanations for the low valuations, which I very often did before. Such an opportunity does not come often. Peter Lim had the chance to buy Wilmar when it was selling at 30cents, largely making him where he is today. Jim rogers himself said that markets can remain irrationally longer than investors can stay solvent. If we have the ability hold, and a chance of a multi-bagger, why not? HK is just starting to receive unrated analyst reports, in part catalyzing its current rally. We are still at the infant stage. Once HK starts reporting its use of the MTNs, as it just did today, we will start seeing rated coverage that sparks further price surges. Even at 7.4cents, the price is still extremely attractive and leaves HK very vulnerable to a corporate takeover. Management will seek to elevate the price to avoid such a scenario, but either way, us shareholders will benefit from capital appreciation. Another reason why I have faith in HK is because of its intimacy with the PRC municipal government. It is difficult to fake such records and thus, we can disregard the s-chip stigma. And the fact that our forex charts tell us how much better the Chinese yuan is faring against the USD and Euro compared to other Asian currencies will soon make companies earning yuan a lot more valuable. So since I have faith in this company's fundamentals, why sell into a rally? It would mean I distrust my intuition. Just my two cents :) |

Agree. HK just announced several increased investment in subsidiaries. The China subsidiaries are understandable due to project expansion but there is one subsidiary, Hankore International Pte Ltd increased by $4.9M, wonder what for? Overseas' projects? JV coming for wastewater project out of China? Preparing for water trust? Better stop once start the various possibilities.
