I see. Thanks alot singaporegal. So I guess its not advisable for someone like me to do day trading. End of the day trading refers to the chart available in sharejunction.com am I right? I only know how to read the line chart as it appear to be the most simple and clearest, is there anything that I miss out? what about the bar chart and other charts? how useful r they and for what use? arghhh bombing with questions again... haha lolz.. |

And there's really no need to study the fluctuations. They will make no sense whatsoever because there's too much movement in the trading day. Try looking at the End Of Day data instead. You will be able to identify price trends more easily for better trading decisions. |

Try Poems. Just a word of advice. If you're a newbie, I suggest you do not do day trading. Its a surest way to get burnt if you're not careful. Only day traders would find the Buy-Sell listings you're looking for very useful. |

btw, can any veterans recommand any website that shows the volume of buy up and sell down at certain timing interval , as well as the record of the precise time of each stock whenever there's a change in the stock price. so that I can study how often the stock fluatuate and the degree of each fluatuation, and the volume bought/sold during that timing. haha, pardon me if what I asked for sounded stupid as I am still a very new newbie in shares/stock. ocbc platform is pretty user friendly to me, a first timer. btw wad is this T+6 and T+3 u guys r talking about, pardon my ignorance on such technical terms/stuffs. |

Hi rickytan, your name sounds like my ex-colleague.. Did you worked in IMM before? Anyway, my T+6 is just "upgraded" one and this is dependent on whether your "independent" reminser want to "give" you or not. If they are just salaried brokers, most probably they will only give you T+3. But for those "independent" reminsers, they does not "belong" to the brokerage houses so they can have a say as most of them need to place a "bond" with the company. Hope this clarifies. |

Hi rogue trader, may I know which brokerage firm did you use that offer T + 6 ? I am using UOB Kay Hian and DMG and they are both offering T +3. Thank you. |

Hi jayish & those who are using OCBC, is their online platform user-friendly? May I know OCBC is T+? days for contra settlement? As last time I heard that they are "offering" T+1 day as they will deduct the $ from your OCBC account the following day. I was thinking whether to switch to DBS or OCBC as it is quite convienient but now my reminser giving me T+6 days, so quite tempting. |

While such information is useful, it is not critical for End-Of-Day TA people like me. Its more useful for people who do day-trading. |

of course you need a brokerage firm to do the trade for you. i'm using p.o.e.m.s they have designated brokers to handle your a/c but you can also buy/sell online by yourself. that's what i meant by trading by yourself. but the fees are lesser if i'm not wrong. anyway, when i started trading, it was online so i don't really know how much those personal brokers charge. |

Hi cr_Kai, I am new to this forum as well. You mentioned about trading through broker or by yourself? I tot all trading have to go through the broker. May I know how should we trade by ourselves? Cos the broker fee is very expensive per deal. I don't wish to pay so much agent fee for each transaction. Pls enlighten me. Kenny |

you trading through broker or by yourself? electronics platform like p.o.e.m.s, kelive, many others. even shareinvestors.com have, but you have to pay for it. |
