Surplus comes from: Spending Cut, Increase in tax revenue and more notable payback (dividend)  of over $60 Billions from Fannie and Freddy which speaks volume on the health of the US housing mkt (good).  I was invested in them beofre the govt decides to take them private (nationalised), else rolling in more money now. Can buy US, asian mkt wise.... tricky.  STI is more likely to rise than HSI thought.... in the LONGER TERM
