Here is my assessment of M1 Q1 report >> http://www.investmentmoats.com/money-management/dividend-investing/m1-first-quarter-2010i-am-not-seeing-what-analysts-is-seeing/ Summary If you really buy now for a big dividend, you are really buying that NBN potentially can increase their operating cashflow by 30% You will also need to monitor a situation where the telcos get too competitive that their capex will increase , operating cashflow will fall due to higher mobile data usage and the need to provide adequate service versus the inability to charge a good price to earn good profits. That is to say profit margin is shrinking (might not be only M1) for the whole industry, free cashflow is shrinking. In that scenario, as an income investor the whole industry might not provide a good long term yield you are looking for. |

no worries here. they always maintain a 250 mil debt a level they can clear in 1 year of cashflow if they dun pay out dividend. | ||

It means all the M1 shares he bought will be priced at 2.17. Yeah lo first time in history M1 share price exceed Starhub. Think the BBs are betting heavily on M1 to perform very well this year with NGNBN. All the analysts reports have a BUY call.. TP of $2.28-$2.30

SINGAPORE, 19 January 2010 - MobileOne Ltd (M1) today announced the unaudited group financial results for the year ended 31 December 2009. Amidst a challenging economic and operating environment, M1’s operating revenue declined 2.4% year on year to S$781.6 million. However, EBITDA margin on service revenue improved by 1.3% points to 44.2% as a result of ongoing cost management initiatives. Net profit after tax was stable at S$150.3m. The total customer base grew by 40,000 - helped by an increase of 19,000 postpaid customers - in the fourth quarter to 1.758 million as at 31 December 2009. The iPhone, launched in December 2009, received an overwhelming response from existing and new customers.
