I believe CAO will do well in the long term because of its links to the Chinese avaiation and energy industry... both of which are likely to surge in the long run. |

chinkiasu Although non of our members highlighted potential movement of this counter, I believe bull-fish.com instructor Binni, already forecast this movement on March 23 using MACD. You can see it at bull-fish.com I'm not vested in the above site. Only giving info to our members. |

It has tendered to buy 295,000 tonnes of jet fuel for May delivery, steady from April but a quarter less than last year, compounding the market's woes, traders said on Monday. Itrequested nine jet fuel shipments of varying sizes that totalled 295,000 tonnes for May delivery, according to traders who received the tender document. The tender closes March 28 with validity for one day. The volume, down substantially from last year's record highs, disappointed some traders who had hoped for a seasonal pick-up in imports due to the Golden Week holiday in early May, and will weigh on regional values that have been depressed for months. "I think domestic supplies are abundant because (Chinese) refineries are running at maximum rates, having bought loads of cheap crude earlier and stored it," a Beijing-based trader said. China imported a near-record 3.22 million barrels per day (bpd) in January, while imports are up 5.6% year to date. Jet fuel imports, which meet a third of total consumption in the world's second-biggest oil user after the United States, surged last year after local refiners shifted to produce more diesel, forcing CAO to fill a widening supply gap. Last year thought bought on average 385,000 tonnes of fuel a month, up from 260,000 tonnes a month in 2005. This year, however, CAO's imports have eased and jet fuel premiums -- already rocked from weak North Asian kerosene demand after an exceptionally warm winter and amid heavy refinery output due to strong naphtha margins -- have suffered as a result. "It's a buyer's market for jet fuel," said another trader. Some traders said CAO might be able to secure May cargoes at an even lower differential than its April purchases, done at premiums of $1-$2 a barrel to Singapore spot quotes. Largely due to the jet fuel supply glut, middle distillate inventories rose to a near four-month high of 8.5 million barrels in Singapore last week, data showed. Benchmark cash jet fuel was valued at wide discounts of 50-70 cents a barrel to Singapore spot quotes on a free-on-board basis, while the intermonth swaps spread held at deep contango of $1.10 a barrel, reflecting the market's bearishness. "Until the peak refinery maintenance kicks in, jet supplies will stay bloated. The volumes are growing as jet fuel is a by-product from refineries eager to make lucrative naphtha," said a Western trader. Refineries are maximising runs to produce the petrochemical feedstock to take advantage of robust crack spreads against Dubai crude, currently pegged at $172 a tonne after touching a record high of about $210 several weeks ago. |

Since the fundamental issue is good, it's better to play for medium to long period. TA is too specullative, and it's not good for fundamental base stock. Use TA during volatile market would be good. There is provit report and also energy is on up-trend now. Play it until Energy development on the peak. From TA there is two critical, 1.60 and 1.80. Do you want to follow ? |

do not sell early (one of the common mistake of investor)..let it run for some more days...for mid-term investor, let it run till above $1.80 level...still stick to my target of at least $2 by end of year...good luck |
