Xinren hit resistence at 0.52 for 2 consecutive days. if it cannot crack that level, it could potentially retrace and find normacy at it's moving average lines.

0215 GMT [Dow Jones] Xinren Aluminium (MN5.SG) rises 4.1% to S$0.510 in heavy volume of 40 million shares after the China-based aluminium producer says it has entered into sale and purchase agreements to acquire 100% of the equity interest in two China smelting plants, Liupanshui Shuangyuan and Yichang Changjiang, for considerations of approximately S$38.54 million and S$46.71 million, respectively. " This acquisition is very good for the company in terms of valuation because we had discounted the valuation before due to the indirect ownership of these two plants, so this is good news, although I have already reflected it in my target price," says DBS Vickers analyst Lee Eun Young. She maintains her Buy rating with a S$0.76 target price, which she raised around 10% in mid-March, when Xinren announced these plans. Xinren says the acquisitions will be financed by internal funds and external bank borrowings, and it has adequate working capital to meet its present operating requirements. DJ MARKET TALK: DBSV Raises Xinren Aluminium Target To S$0.76

0341 GMT [Dow Jones] STOCK CALL: DBS Vickers raises Xinren Aluminium (MN5.SG) target price to S$0.76 from S$0.70 and keeps its Buy recommendation after the China-based aluminum producer announced it intends to acquire 100% of the equity interest in two China smelting plants, Liupanshui Shuangyuan and Yichang Changjiang, for an aggregate consideration of no more than CNY442.4 million, financed by internal funds the total smelting capacity of the plants, currently owned by group majority shareholders the Zeng family, is 275,000 tons. DBS Vickers analyst Eun Young Lee says " we believe the valuation discount should narrow going forward given that the reason for the discount was its indirect ownership in the two smelting plants, its major revenue-generating assets." The new target is pegged at 9.5X FY11 P/E, reflecting the transition to direct ownership, which translates to 7.2X FY11 EV/EBITDA and 2.5X FY11 P/BV. The new target is also benchmarked at a 20% discount, against 25% previously, to the weighted average of its global peers. The stock is +2.3% at S$0.455. (matthew.allen@dowjones.com)
