Hi All, Just got this news...it has not been announced in SGX. Cougar Ace is a ship belonging to Sp Ship. A Singapore-flagged car carrier was reported to be listing severely and taking on water off the Aleutian Islands today, said Coast Guard officials responding to the incident. The 5,542-unit Cougar Ace (built 1993) sent out an SOS late Sunday night, though officials said they had no explanation for the listing. Some 23 crew members are on board the ship. Officials said one crew member had sustained a broken leg though there were no other injuries. A Coast Guard vessel is currently making it way to the ship, which is located around 230 miles south of the Island of Adak in the western Aleutians. The Cougar Ace was also reported to have received help from a merchant vessel in the area. The remoteness of the area had made access relatively slow however. The Aleutian Islands extend more than 1,000 miles west of the Alaskan peninsula in the northern pacific ocean. A Coast Guard plane has already reached the area and is believed to have survival rafts loaded onboard in case the ship starts to sink. The Cougar Ace was listed in 2005 as part of Mitsui OSK Lineā??s fleet. The vessel also hit the news headlines in 2003 after a seafarer fell overboard and died during a voyage on the US east coast. The Cougar Ace was en route to the port of Jacksonville in Florida when the incident occurred. |

Hi OngHuiH, They will be looking at a dividend of 12 cents per lot. The dividend is very attractive and it might push the price of this counter pass its record high of 62 cents which was done during the last dividend announcement. When to let go depends very much on how you trade. Some will let go once target price is reached and some will do so after xd. Both seem to be able to make profits but the question is more of 'how much?' rather than 'when?'. Hope this helps. |
