Why when trading halt still relates to Jan 18 announcement? SGX please question the company. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	SINGAPORE : Mainboard-listed Meiban Group has said its CEO George Goh has proposed to take the company private. In a filing with the Singapore Exchange (SGX), Meiban said Mr Goh intends to acquire shares he does not own for S$0.40 per share. The deal will be done through Zhong Yong Holdings. Meiban, a contract manufacturing of consumer products and plastic injection moulded components, was listed in Singapore in 1994 and upgraded to the Mainboard of the SGX in July 2000. As at the close of market trading on 13 March 2012, Meiban's market capitalisation was S$126.8 million. Meiban said it has an issued and paid-up share capital of S$33.13 million comprising 321.02 million shares as of the announcement date. The company said an application will be made to the SGX to delist Meiban from the Mainboard.
