SMRT good buy lah... every year got divident to take, this year just taken $70.. better than FD and govt Loan stock... yet they have lots of shop space to lease. believe it should at on par with ComfortDelgo at $1.60. that is my target.... haha... |

hit almost 52 weeks high (1.20),now 1.19.. when you go to harbourfront MRT. so many people!!!! because of Vivocity.. no points why SMRT will not earn more money this time... this share goes up, for sure. |

Now that the result .... anyone like to comment what would happen to the share price on Monday? Effective Div is 1.254c per share after less tax. 2Q net profit rose 13.0% on year, as a result of higher usage of its commuter trains in Singapore Net profit for the three months ended Sept. 30 rose to S$31.6 million, from S$27.9 million a year earlier, the company said in a statement. The company expects a weaker third quarter as train ridership is likely to be only marginally higher than a year earlier due to fare increases, and expenses are set to rise on higher electricity, depreciation and maintenance costs. |

this is one of my favorite. Provide essential services. Reasons for price up +3 cts today : raise in taxi fare, dividend 5.5 cts XD is 26 Jul 06, non-fare revenue going up ... rental space around MRT stations. And increase in tourists. Most tourists take MRT ......... You may want to take a look. |
