It is no doubt that the subprime saga is a huge problem, but it is slowly being contained by the world's monetary authories...although not totally solved as yet! Of course, a huge chunk of assets will be taken away from the world's financial systems; and it will take some times to heal. Majority of the problems is already being defined and therefore, solutions could be found and solved or going around the unsolved ones. As such, I don't see a recession happening 'cos I believe the World has the experience to ride this one out (even without Mr Greenspan)! Cheers! |

With the looming subprime problems still unresolved and evolving, high oil prices, I think that recession is coming soon. Take note that the Beijing Olympics is next year. After the games are over, I think the Chinese economy will also experience a slow down. |
