Hi Benny, The edge didnt say TP is 50cents. It was a technical analysis that merely states that if it breaks a certain resistance, 50cents could be the next likely price it will head towards. No mention of TP based on fundamentals, it was just technical charting. Invest if you are in speculation. If not stay out. |

I ran out yesterday at average of 0.353 cents getting rid of all my 1 yr plus holding. Glad to make a profit after all these time. Will look for opportunity in the future. The issue with this share is that as most shares are owned by the company, it's not volatile and can be dead for months though the other shares are rising. It's not market responsive unless news like that. Otherwise, it's also difficult to sell the share. With the current news, my personal opinion is that there is no reason for it to rise esp when they are selling the shares at a discount. It probably signify that the price should not fall below 0.25. |

Ok my mistake, Tan Chin Hock is the CEO of formerly listed Sembawang Kimtrans, which was taken over by Toll Holdings. Interesting shareholder structure. Labroy holding 30%, The Chua family 30% and now the new shareholders 20%. | ||||

Price rose because of new strategic shareholder, if i'm not wrong was a important person in sembcorp marine years back. correct me if i'm wrong. hence bringing in wealth of experience and possibly a revamp of biz operations or model. hence thr un up in prices. in my opinion. i wouldnt advise to enter now, since it has alr risen 50% today. nothing has happened yet, just the inclusion of new strategic shareholders. future biz opportunities not clear, so i wouldnt advise entering at such a high price. |

.... I am in a confused state now. Looking at the news, it appear that they are having some new share offer to some folks at a discount (base price 25cents). So the shares is up because: 1) To make new shareholders happy so there must be a premium???? 2) General good performance???? I held this counter for 1 yr plus... stuck and definitely happy that I've finally breakeven and made a decent gain. I sold 44% of my holding at 35.5 cents and wondering if I should sell the rest... Wondering if it will go up??? |
