Phillip Securities Research 17 September 2009 Sinotel Technologies Limited ADR gets the heads-up from US S.E.C. Maintain BUY call at fair value estimate of S$0.93. The initial step to this ADR facility has been achieved i.e. approval of the ADR facility. The next step would be establishing a market maker before US investors can start trading the ADR. We maintain our view that the completion of the ADR facility from approval to initial US trades should serve as a significant catalyst and maintain our BUY call with target price remaining at S$0.93. We will be monitoring the development of the ADR facility closely and issue updates as and when appropriate. |

If you're keeping for long term, don need to be so kan chiong. Investors sure make money. Unless you're a contra player, then you can't do this as contra player is racing against time... Yes holders for longer term will make $$$-just imagine the pte placement investors ,they have to pay when got the shares at 50.52cts not free one about 1/4% and when sell also brokerages incurred...u nlikley will take profits at 68cts-this level represent gd support..move up from 60.5cts liao Sep 18, 2009 3:25 pm Post subject: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On June 6 Ford Filed International Ltd which has 90,085,485mil Sinotel shares sold 5mil shares to some 3rd party...Sinotel is tightly held consider its scripts of only 280mil shares(exclude pte placement of 28mil shares) Today's price at 68cts consider well supported since on Mon 14 Sept 97mil was done and today's being Fri and Mon is a public holiday and yet the share price holding well as contra players will be there to sell...good to accumulate on dip esp when the contra players cannot pay up... at 68cts is just about 18cts above pte placement of 50.25cts and given its ADR status and ongoing roadshow in U.S,hence > upside is expected |

Last week was 60.5-63cts,until this monday 14 Sept suddenly shot up to high of 68cts and Tue went from 69.5cts to 72cts high..so now naturally profit taking especially for contra players or those who don't want to pick up..just be patient since the pte placement investors will nit be just contend with about 18cts capital gain(68-50.52cts),2- 3 months later will cross 90cts for Sinotel esp when the angmohs and US fund managers get acquainted with Sinotel as the road show is still on and ADR just approved on Monday 14Sept only...buy on dip

Sinotel Technologies: After a fantastic stock run, a substantial shareholder could not resist taking profit even though at the 60-cent level, the PE of Sinotel is still at a low 5-6X this year’s forecast earnings (according to AmFraser Securities and Kim Eng Securities). Shortly after the sale by Andrew Barron Worden, the substantial shareholder, Sinotel announced a placement of 28 million shares at 50.52 cents apiece to raise working capital. This is going to be useful as it enables it to take on more jobs in China’s unprecedented multi-trillion-dollar 3G network rollout. Interestingly, with the share placement, a new major shareholder looks set to come on board Sinotel. Sinotel said the placement shares would be placed to investors which including Providence SOGF Limited, which holds a value-centric investment philosophy and specialises in late stage private equity and PIPE (private investment in public equity) transactions. At its website, www.provequity.com, Providence says it is the world's leading private equity firm focused on media, entertainment, communications and information investments. It has US$22 billion of assets under management. |

Yes u're absolutely right,drop initially only,if U're investors,fear not if the counter got potential.
Listed in 2007 at 51ccts and first day closing was ab 62.5cts and Sinotel just started out with good potentials after be inialg bashed by global financial crisis to low of 11cts now to >60cts is a remarkable performance. The mkt has taken not badly to the pte placement drop marginally to 61.5cts now from 63cts.
