Delong's Q1 net profit fell yoy. However, higher steel prices have lifted its net profit and gross margin in 1Q06 ($15m and 9.6%) compared to 4Q05 ($7.8m and 6.5%). Continued increases in steel prices and expanded annual production capacity, fr 1.4m tonnes (Q405) to 2.4m tonnes (FY07), are expected to lead to significantly better net profit in 2Q06 qoq. Average prices of hot-rolled steel coils (HRC) as at the middle of Apr 06 were approxly 15% compared to 1Q06. The prices have rebounded since Feb 06. |

Advance was halted at 15.5 cents (the resistance level in Apr 2005) and also the Fibonacci resistance (61.8%). ............continued at my blog |
