Hi everyone! Anyone owning this stock? Saw it plunge 15 % yesterday (after the Extraordinary Meeting on the 26 th Nov) and back up today because of reports on new money to be invested in water in Asia. Any comments on this stock? |

"China has about 1/4 of the average per capita water supply in the world, and 136 of its cities face severe water shortages," said Stephane Delatte, managing director of CLSA Mezzanine. "Intense levels of pollution aggravate the shortage. Asia Water Technology is ideally positioned to participate in the development of this industry," he said. |

Asia Water rose on arrangement of US$60 million in financing by CLSA Capital Partners. The deal was structured as a combination of senior secured bonds with detachable warrants and junior secured convertible bonds, it said in a statement. The detachable warrant is issued as part of a bond, but then detached and traded separately in the secondary market. The warrant holder has the right to buy new equity or debt. The bonds have been fully taken up by several financial institutions, including Lucky Six Ltd, a wholly owned SPV of MezzAsia Capital LP that is managed by CLSA Mezzanine Management Ltd, Indopark Holdings Ltd, a unit of Merrill Lynch and DBS Nominees (Pte) Ltd. In May, a senior executive at CLSA Capital Partners told Reuters that the firm has US$700 million available to invest in small and medium-sized Asian companies in sectors such as real estate and consumer goods. Josephine Price, deputy CEO of CLSA Capital Partners, said in an interview that the money could be invested over the next 2 years if it finds the right deals at the right price in Asia's competitive private equity market. |

unless there's an acquisition or merger going on or some excellent financial news brewing, there's no reason for it to jump 20% and drop 15% within a day - exception of a bear-trap. Company financially strong but prices movement played heavily. |
