ya...the rights are dirt cheap....but has any1 wondered what can they do with the $1.09 million if the rights are fully subscribed? They also stated that its for general captial purposes such as invest in short-term money markets, marketable securities or deposit with banks. If deposit in bank then why issue rights?if for short term $ market, isit that risky? All i feel is what can they do with just 1million$....and finally, why are they issuing it at such cheap price? I'm still thinking of the logics behind..... |

Dear Henrytan, you are very right about the comment you made. Last year Eastgate lost $12 million and this six month another $6 over million. They have not been giving dividens for the past 5 years.Looks like they will lose another $6 over million by year end if the trend continues., How many more millions can they lose? Was told that Eastgate even sold their building to a Reit company last year if it has been finalise, then all the money must have been use up. Dump this counter, remember "the greater fool" theory. |

Eastgate report a loss of $6 over million for the first half year, Dump thid counter. Dont put good money to save bad maney, Full year results will even be worse.Just wait for their announcement. They have lost many of their anchor customerd |

for eastgate, the covertible bond is at $0.0599, I believe they purposely push up this counter to sell. They start pushing when it is $0.035. if not how do they sell. fundamentally, this company is making losses. There is not much news for this counter. I sold all my eastgate $0.125. We need understand why a lost making company share price can go up. They need to off load it to the retailer. |

Eastgate announced that 70% owned subsidiary has assigned certain intellectual property including patent licence worth US$1.25 million in return for cash consideration. Anybody know what that means? Expect buy up offer for their subsidiary? |

Hi Taybc1071, I also agree with you that messiah is right. Looks like this company is going to "chap lup", being question by SGX as to whether they can operate as a going concern. I have dump their shares and cut loss. |
