Is Koh Bro the company that own 50% of Sun Plaza? Anyone been to Sun Plaza? How do you feel wen you are there? I prefer North point and Causeway point. Perhaps it is good for Koh Brother to sell Sun Plaza if they can.....the mall is in such a good location that it is just opposite the MRT...... |

Koh Brothers Group, the construction, property development and specialist engineering solutions provider, and Japan’s Okumura Corporation (OC), a total coordinator for projects, today announced a 80:20 joint venture to undertake the construction of Parc Olympia, a residential project at Flora Drive. Under the agreement, Koh Brothers Building & Civil Engineering Contractor (Pte.) (KBCE), a subsidiary of Koh Brothers, and OC, will work jointly on the construction of Parc Olympia’s 8 blocks of 7-8 storey residential buildings with basement carparks, communal facilities and a swimming pool. Parc Olympia, a 99-year leasehold site with a total land area of 322,368 sq ft, is located within a residential estate in Pasir Ris. OC would focus primarily on site risk & safety assessment and management of the project, overall schedule planning, quality assurance measures and plans, maintaining high site standard on cleanliness and orderliness, improve site productivity through work processes and the formation of Work Improvement Teams. OC is known for its strong technological capabilities in building technologies and environment-related technology, having built Japan’s first earthquake-absorbing building using its seismic isolation system. OC is also known for developing techniques for the 100% recycling of demolished concrete, and natural greening of concrete surfaces on buildings. Construction of Parc Olympia will start in the third quarter of 2012, and is slated for completion in the first quarter of 2015. | ||||

Koh Brothers Group Limited has successfully emerged as the top bidder with a winning bid of S$37.78 million for national water agency PUB’s Geylang River project, which begins from Dunman Road , flowing to Guillemard Road . This project is part of PUB’s Active, Beautiful, Clean Waters Programme, which transforms Singapore ’s reservoirs and waterways into beautiful and clean streams, rivers and lakes, teeming with vibrancy. Work on the project commences in November 2010 and is expected to complete by May 2013. Not to worry as they clinch are Singapore Gov Contract so less chance of a deflaut. Bank see the sales are coming from Gov Coffers will feel safer to loan Koh Bros.. Only thing is Gov contract margin are not as lucrative as private one.. Prudent est 10% net profit based on sales is safe and material and wages cost are comming down fast. Works are all starting this year so Higer Sales Lower Cost is a good sign, on top of that no investor wan to buy now is the best time to accumulate. Must move 1 step ahead of common investors..
